CAN I GIVE 0 STARS??? I went to Dunkin’ Richland Center on Sunday, August 10th at 5:40 PM, and honestly, this might be one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had anywhere. All I asked—very simply—was for less ice in my drink. That’s it. Not a complicated request, not some wild customization… just less ice.
I’ve ordered less ice many times before at other Dunkin locations without a single issue, so I know it’s not some impossible request. But instead of just making my drink the way I ordered it, the guy behind the counter decided to lecture me like I was clueless. He kept insisting that less ice would make it “not taste as well,” as if I’ve never had a drink before in my life. I repeated my request several times—calmly, clearly, and politely—but he clearly decided that his personal opinion mattered more than what the paying customer wanted.
And the best part? After completely ignoring my request, he went ahead and made my drink with even more ice than usual. At that point it wasn’t just bad service—it felt like blatant disrespect. Why even bother asking customers what they want if you’re going to do whatever you want anyway?
This wasn’t just annoying—it was insulting. I paid for my drink, not for someone’s unsolicited “expert” opinion on ice ratios. If I wanted a giant cup of ice with a splash of drink, I would’ve gone to my freezer at home.
Horrible experience from start to finish. If this is how Dunkin treats customers—by arguing with them and deliberately ignoring their orders—then they don’t deserve anyone’s business. I’ll be going elsewhere from now on, and I’ll make sure everyone I know hears about how ridiculous and unprofessional this was.

My initial visit was about 25 minutes ago as I was already just about to spring green WI by the time I realized that my entire order was wrong which would have initially had been free but I’m an honest person and paid for my transaction after going in the store after being left to sit in the drive through for almost 7 minutes. Once inside the store I purchased a damaged white thermos by the way and had I not spoken up I could have left with everything for free. lol. However, I paid for my order and left with almost nothing I ordered. So I turned around and went back to get my order fixed. What a mistake!!! I was made to feel like it was all my fault and ZERO apology !?? Within seconds I had 3 teenagers and an older woman covered in tattoos all yelling at me over the entire situation. The older woman kept saying “It’s my first day” as if she had never been trained in how DD would want their customers treated???? I’m a business owner myself and if I Ever treated my customers like this, I would be out of business in about an hour !! Every single person who I encountered this morning should be fired immediately ! The lady in front of me ordered the same drink at me (2 of them) and instead of telling her that they were out the worker just put 2 empty cups up for her to grab and the worker didn’t even explain why.
Half the time when I get the bacon, it’s not cooked fully and it has given me and all my friends food poisoning 2 times. And when we told them about it the manager said “no, their is no way that could have happened”
I’ve been forgotten about when I’ve gone through the drive through. They didn’t give me any of my stuff and said “please move to the second window” and then no one came for 20 minutes, and the lady said “do you need anything?” And we had to tell her our order again just to get our 2 things!
