Eileen's English Toffee — Restaurant in Richland Township

Small business in a repurposed home on Gull Rd serving Exceptional Toffee and different baked goods. Right on the way to Gilmore Car Museum. Stopped in on way to a car show @ Gilmore and tried the offered Tasty Sample of Toffee. Ultimately bought 1.5 #s of Toffee which I am still enjoying in moderation. Extremely Rich Stuff!! Also saw available Scones with fruit and other baked goods on offer. Have a regular Chocolatier in Evanston Illinois that also does English Toffee. This was Different But Equally As Good! The secret ingredient is crack because I'm SOOOO addicted. Nothing like 2lbs of toffee to get me through the next few minutes. My favorite candy is heath and this is heath's hotter older brother. It's got that delicious crunch but melts like a butterfinger instead of leaving the shards of glass that heath does (delicious glass). I thought the guy was kidding when he said "my mother's recipe" but this came straight from a woman made with pure love. Thank you...

Found the toffee at The Manistee Arts and Crafts Show at the National Forest Festival. I bought a pound bag and my son and I started eating it. It was gone by the time we were walking around the show so we had to buy another pound. Sooo delicious!!! (and fun to buy!!)

As it turns out, I have passed the shop many times as it is on one of the ways I drive to work! I think I will be stopping by...
