The Coop — Restaurant in Richland Township

Went to The Coop today for the first time, I was excited because ive heard nothing but great things about this establishment. Food was mediocre diner food, run of the mill… big portions though for the price. Service was upsetting. Heard my waitress talking about me to her coworker as soon as she walked away. My boyfriend wanted to walk out but I made him stay, only because I was hungry. If you work in hospitality you shouldn’t make the customer feel bad. If you have nothing nice to say, dont say anything at all… or take it to the back at least where we cant hear you :/. maybe we will try this restaurant again for dinner, i just hope I wont be...

I've been going there for years and the service can be slower than molasses sometimes. They could have multiple people working on a busy day, have a line of 10 people/groups of people deep, and STILL take their time on getting people through the line which is taking up half the hallway. Don't get me wrong, although I do enjoy the food from there, it'd be nice if they got the efficiency better when it comes to servings customers sometimes because I've had to leave the line or totally bypass the place...

What a great place! Went on New Years Eve morning, a Saturday so not sure how typical the 20 minute wait is. Not awful, just a wait at 10:00 am. Food came fast waitress Stephanie was extremely good- friendly, efficient, attentive and smiling too! The omelette was great as was the very huge breakfast- Coop special.
