This has been a constant issue when I come to this particular Wendy’s location, but this visit was definitely the most troubling. I came in and waited almost ten minutes in the drive through to even have someone take my order, instead I got told to wait a minute. I have worked in management in fast food restaurants before and I am very forgiving when it comes to not being at the top speed when things get busy. That being said, there was only me and one other car the entire time, and this car was already at the window. When someone finally said I can start ordering, all I wanted was a small frost-a-chino. I come up to the window and have to use cash instead of a card (this is not an issue and I understand that this is not the fault of the employees). I come to find out that there were apparently some issues going on with the employees according to the girl who I gave my money to. Yet again I understand issues with co-workers but I could tell that it was affecting productivity. That being said, I waited another ten minutes to get my frost-a-chino. This would be more forgivable if there was a line of cars around the store, but I look back and I am the only car in the entire drive through. When I finally get my drink, it is dripping on the outside with coffee, and was told that the machine was leaking. I have no issue with saying that this was extremely disappointing and was a terrible experience. I understand issues with co-workers, I understand bad work environments in fast food restaurants. But this was unacceptable. There should have been no reason to wait as long as I did to get my order taken (even if there were issues with the car at the window). There should have been no reason to have me wait as long as I did to receive my one single drink. Read moreLet me first start off by saying that Wendy's is one of my favorite fast food places to eat. Let me also say that I rarely leave negative reviews based off of one bad situation. Ok, those two things out of the way, now the review.
My wife and I have given this Wendy's roughly 6-7 chances to redeem themselves, but each time we're met with very long wait times, cold food and bad customer service. The last straw for me was this past Saturday. I went in roughly around 1pm for a quick lunch & there were 2 separate couples in front of us in line. It took roughly 12-15 minutes for those 2 couples to get their orders in. I finally got my order placed, but there would be a 2.5 minute wait on the fries and the lady at the front counter professed that she'd bring them out. Ok, no biggie. So I go sit down and open my single and it's practically coated all around the edges with ketchup & mayo. I can't even pick it up without getting condiments all over my hands. (see photo) Then I go to take a bite and the bun is completely hard around the edges. I didn't waste my time taking it back up to the front to have it replaced because while I was waiting in line I watched a drive thru customer come inside and wait roughly 7 minutes for a sandwich only to end up leaving without one because he was so mad. Oh and my fries that the lady assured that she'd bring out? Yah, they never came. So I had to go back up and ask for them. The lady apologized and I respect that, but come on people. Again, this is not a one time occurrence. This place is almost always slow, gives incorrect food or just bad food. It really is a black eye for Wendy's brand and honestly that's why I'm leaving this review. Corporate needs to know how bad this restaurant is and reviews & sales is the best way to get their attention. Read moreNEEDS AN UPDATED REVIEW! We used the app for the first time. I did three biggie bags, all different, a jr deluxe, and large fries.
I told them when I got to the drive thru we did the app & for the biggie bags I wanted them all separate (last time we ordered 5 biggie bags and they threw them all together. I was told you HAVE TO REQUEST the separate bags or we won't do it.) Found that to be odd since I ordered FIVE completely different bags.
So this time, I made sure they knew. They did not like it this time. They had to unbag and rebag. On top of that they forgot a 4 piece nugget, trashed my kids sandwiches on top of my own. They miscounted 10 pieces of spicy nuggets, with a regular nugget added, I got 8.. because that seems to be over complicated.
When I confronted the manager I asked for her name she acted like she didn't hear me, rudly said WHAT.. Then told me that I was holding up her line & that I needed to move. All the while I was still trying to correct my order, that I had already paid for. I asked her name again and got "KEIRSTEN, now move you've been here for four minutes and are wasting my time, we have a 78% turn rate!" I laughed and said she must be very unfortunate.
I can clearly say I'll be deleting the app & Wendy's will never get my service. I will gladly drive to a southern state and get hospitality instead of bitter rudeness from a lady who hates her life. All of that was totally unprofessional!! Disgusting.
