My recent experience with their Khichra was profoundly disappointing, and I feel compelled to share a more detailed account of why I strongly advise against purchasing it. What arrived was an insult to the rich culinary tradition of Indian cuisine, particularly for a dish that often holds such a revered place. From the moment I opened the container, it was clear something was amiss. The dish bore little resemblance to the hearty, well-incorporated Khichra one would expect. Instead, it presented as a greasy, unappetizing amalgamation of under-cooked lentils (daal), swimming in an excessive amount of oil. It genuinely looked as though ingredients had been haphazardly thrown together without proper cooking or emulsification. Adding to the dismay, the promised goat meat was sparse, consisting of merely a couple of pieces that seemed out of place in the oily, gritty mixture. There was no evidence of the slow-cooked, tender meat that is characteristic of a well-prepared Khichra, where the meat should complement the lentils and grains. The quality of this dish was simply unacceptable, especially considering the premium price charged. It's a disservice to customers to offer such a low-quality product under the guise of authentic Indian food. My decision is firm: I will never spend my money on their Khichra again. I urge others to exercise caution and consider alternative options if you're looking for a genuine and high-quality rendition of this beloved dish. This is my second disappointment with...

Read moreVisited Bademiya Kebab House on a Friday and it appears they are currently in their soft opening phase. There was no signage or clear direction upon entry, which left many guests, including us, a bit confused about the lack of dine-in service. Most people seemed to be expecting seating, so some guidance at the entrance would have helped manage expectations.
They were short-staffed, which is understandable at this stage, but a few popular menu items were unavailable. This included the Friday special, beef dum biryani, and also the seekh kebab, which was a bit disappointing. That said, the ambiance is promising. The space is well-decorated and the menu offers a wide variety of dishes.
We ordered the chicken dum biryani and the BBQ platter, which was recommended by the staff. The biryani was decent, but the BBQ lacked seasoning and some of the items tasted quite bland. The drinks, including the lassi, were pre-made and stored in the fridge, so we were unsure if they were freshly prepared that day.
Although dine-in service was not officially available, we were given paper plates and plastic utensils to eat inside, which was appreciated.
Overall, it looks like a place with potential, especially once they are fully up and running. A bit more attention to food flavor, better communication with guests, and cleaner restrooms would definitely enhance the...
