It was slow inside. Not many customers on the inside. Three female employees sitting on a break at a table. Hooting and hollering loudly with their conversation and talk. Heard every detail going on while I was at least 20 some plus feet away or more. Management and other two other male employees joined in at a few different periods. Cops sitting on tables not being thrown out. Lot of fries napkins and trash under a certain section of tables. No one was doing anything to clean them up. My food was prepared well. Though it took them longer to get my water to me than expected. We broke down our order into three separate transactions. It gave them better time to handle the order is individually and us more time to see the variety on the menu and select. The conversation with the employees was more than just a little casual conversation or chatter it was loud hooting and hollering while the manager went back and forth from talking to the employees at the table and having conversations loudly with the staff in the service area where they prepare the meals. Was truly not a great experience in the overall. The only positive part that my food was actually prepared well. No complaints with that at all. The performance and actions of the employees however was very unrealistic and unreasonable. And the level of cleanliness was way below par. Somebody should have minimally been walking around cleaning tables counters surface areas pushing a broom sweeping up a little bit all they were doing we're just basically hanging out getting paid for...
Read moreJust had one of the worst waits in the drive through. Pulled up to order and was asked to hold on a minute; I was in a line and it was late so this was fine. Nearly ten minutes later I get “Welcome to McDonald’s how can I help you?” No apology for the wait, no thank you for waiting. I order a Big Mac and medium fries. I pull up, there’s only one car in front of me now. The cars behind me all start pulling up too. I pull up to the window, pay for my meal, do not receive a receipt, and then wait. For an additional 10 or so minutes I watch as the staff inside fill a huge order, I’m guessing for delivery, and mill about, pull out their phones, and I assume wait for the cooks. That large order sat for 5 minutes while I continued waiting. I can understand a busy night and short staff. Not once did the cashier come back to the window to apologize for the delay or thank me for my patience. 20 minutes after I first pulled up to order - I know this based on text messages I sent at the time - I finally get a “sorry for the wait,” receive my 2 items, and the window closed. I drove off and discovered there was no receipt in the bag either. 20 minutes of waiting, with no sincere apology, no small perks of gratitude for my quiet patience, and watching the staff work with no urgency. I was not rude nor did I complain to the staff, but there clearly needs to be training on how to properly manage situations like these. The...
Read moreWhy do people eat from these places? They mainly employ people 16 to 21 who don't understand "taking pride in my work" people who just want (not need) a paycheck. This gives way to unhealthy conditions. I don't do cooked fast food anymore. Fast food is raw fruit and vegetables. A few years back; I worked next door to this McDonald's at the gas station and me and my coworkers constantly complained about terrible quality food, messed up orders, bad attitudes from staff etc. Well back to the present.... They have rats the size of ferrets or guinea pigs running around playing at the drive thru and entering the kitchen area. No lie or exaggeration on the size. I'm from Brooklyn and now live in Philly. Subway rats are smaller than the ones I seen here. Is it because of the food that is available to them? I warned the customer I delivered the Uber eats order to. I told him never order from here again. But sadly... I bet he will! Funny thing is I pointed this out to two young ladies behind me in line...they were shocked when they seen the humungus rodents...and they still...
