We discovered this little gem thanks to a dear friend who lives in the neighborhood—right after a game at the Riegelsville Park field down the block. We decided to stop in for dinner with the kids, and it ended up being a really lovely experience.
The space itself has a bit of everything: a cozy little bar area, a few tables for dine-in, and a front counter where you can order and grab drinks or take your meal to go. It’s a casual spot that seems to cater well to both locals and passersby. I’m not sure if it functions as a full café in the mornings, but I can confidently say the dinner hit the spot.
I had two slices of mushroom pizza, and they were honestly the best I’ve had in a while—cheesy, flavorful, and reminded me of the New York slices I’ve truly missed. The crust had that perfect balance where it could be folded without falling apart, and the mushrooms were generously and evenly spread. The classic toppings I love—garlic powder, oregano, Parmesan, and red pepper flakes—were all readily available.
They also had beer on tap and a small selection of alcoholic drinks if you’re looking to wind down. Their fridge near the front offered even more drink options, which was a nice touch.
The place wasn’t crowded, which made it feel cozy and relaxed—perfect for a family dinner. Our waitress was incredibly sweet and attentive, and the overall vibe gave off that friendly, neighborhood, everyone-knows-each-other kind of feel. That kind of atmosphere earns a solid five stars from me.
If you’re judging by appearances alone, you might miss out—this isn’t some flashy, trendy place. But the food and the service? Absolutely...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I were out for a day ride on our bikes and found this place. Considering the name and some of the pictures I briefly saw while looking for a place to eat, I thought this would be a nice place with a bar that we can have a nice meal at. First let me say, the food we had, which was just a burger and a cheese steak wrap were, decent, no complaints there. The pizza looked so, so good, and I regret not getting it. Anyway, the downside from my perspective was that it was just a typical pizza joint on the inside and it was dark and kind of dreary. It had a small bar that had three beers on tap and they sold take out beer which you could also choose from to have while eating in. Personally, I was a little disappointed, but partially it was my fault for not looking deeper into it, but the image I conjured based on the name and pictures, I felt weren't accurate of the place as I was expecting cozy, a more "cafe" sort of menu, and a bar. If you're looking for a quick bite, you don't care about atmosphere, and are looking for the basics as far as food options go, drop in. If you want to sit down and have a nice meal and a drink, this isn't exactly the place...
Read moreThey are very rude when you tell the truth about how the food is if your not happy. They will disrespect you and make not want to come back!! There is no point going to eat somewhere if you know they will be offended by a comment or complaint. People say it’s great but I really think it’s sub-par like 6/10. There are many pizza shops around outside of here and you need to explore then. Someone also said they make pizza with hairy arms in your dough so I would not order pizza. One thing I did hear is the Pannins and bruschetta are good. I never had one so I guess it’s true by word of mouth. I would say beware if you go!!! Just saying: I would recommend Mezza Luna pizza in Milford NJ or My new place pizza in Easton. Happy...
