We had an incredible meal at Hagan's Restaurant & Bar for Valentine’s Day last night. My husband read about the top romantic dinner ideas in a recent Morning Call article and wanted to pick somewhere we had never been. What an amazing vibe! The staff were all friendly and helpful on a busy night especialy our server Alessandro! He recommended drinks for us to start with. I had read the whipped feta was amazing. It did not disappoint! They even asked if we wanted more toasted crostini to finish it off. To be extra adventurous, we both ordered the omakase which is Japanese for chef’s choice. Neither of us have ever done that before but our server assured us that no one had ever sent any of the chef’s selections back and we are both pretty adventurous. We asked him to pair his choice of wine with our dinner and not bring it out until just before dinner to give us a clue. The Chardonnay clued me in that it may be seafood. It was a delicious salmon with crisped skin over pasta with delectable thinly sliced jalapeños. Would love to have the chef’s description. It was delectable and to die for! We could’ve easily split one as it was a very generous portion. I only wish we had room for dessert! I loved that we could order the Valentine specials or off the regular menu as many places have a limited menu for Valentine’s Day. The live music, roaring fire, and fresh flowers made the perfect backdrop for a very romantic meal. Everything was just perfect. We will definitely be back soon!

Best place to go!! We do the 45 minute drive at least once a week to come here! The food is absolutely incredible. Few things I would highly recommend are.. • Wings: always crispy! our favorite wings in the area • Pb&J: don’t knock it till you try it! easily the best thing on the menu. Could be a meal or a dessert! • Omakase: The chef will cook up something special for you! (it’s a surprise so you don’t know what it is until it’s in front of you) You can let your server or bartender know of you have any food allergies! Never had a bad surprise meal • The Dip: to her avocado salsa in the sandwich really adds something to it! So delicious • French fries: BEST fries i’ve ever had. seasoned perfectly. Always crispy. The atmosphere here doesn’t get better. You have such a great mix of people. Everyone is friendly! The bartenders are out of this world! So attentive and really get to know their customers. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. If you haven’t tried it here, you’re missing out!! (pictured: Bar area, Charred Cinnamon Pineapple Old Fashion, Grilled PB&J, Crab Dip, Steamed Buns)

One of the most interesting and creative restaurants around. The menu changes regularly, and has both innovative and traditional appetizers and entrees, but my favorite is far and away the nightly omekase, or chef's choice. It's for the adventurous eater - the dish is a surprise, with the diner not knowing what he's going to get until it arrives at the table! It's a chance for the chef to really shine, using ingredients he's sourced that day and recipes he's interested in trying out. I've had this every time we've gone, and have always been delighted - some of the omekase I've had were sliced filet on blue cheese grits with collards, bbq burnt ends on barbecued beets, crab-stuffed catfish, and grilled salmon on red beet rice. For the adventurous foodie, this is a real treat! Super friendly staff, and a comfortable casual atmosphere with a full bar.

This was my first time coming to this restaurant since this had changed to Hagans. The atmosphere was welcoming, inviting. Our bartender was Amber. She was sweet and professional. Made my drink amazing. I also had a conversation with Brandy and Tim. They were all busy and took the time to welcome me and my husband .They offered us dinner, menus and specials. But , at that time we were just having some cocktails. But I know there were some gluten-free items on the menu that were inviting. The tacos looked delicious. I will be definitely trying them in the near future. We chatted with the owner and he was professional and took the time to tell us about some of his catering options. We are so thankful to have this little secret in the corner of upper bucks county. Thank you, staff and owners of Hagans for your hospitality and warm welcome. We...
