Shiver Shack — Restaurant in Rio Vista

Shiver shack is THE spot for shaved ice. I have been coming here since I was a kid and now, 20 years later and with kids of my own, I bring them here. Shiver shack is like family at this point and the owner is so nice. Choices are endless, the shaved ice is fluffy and packed in well, and they are the absolute best when it comes to the amount of syrup used. You will never see any ice that didn’t get some flavor soaked in, as it should be. I would come year round if they were open. (Hot chocolate stand would be prettty sweeet if y’all are reading this shiver shack owners 🤩)

You will not regret this place. Cash or card is accepted and they have a drive through for those of us who are on the move or just wanna get ya ice and hit the house.
