Don Fili's Grill — Restaurant in Riverbank

My boyfriend went to Don Fili's taco truck today and purchased two burritos, one for myself and one for him. I rate this establishment a 2 star because we don't find the food consistent, as far as taste. From my experience, there seems to not be a consistent set of individuals preparing food, and I think the outcome to this is that the food is sometimes good and sometime not so good, depending on who is there on a given day, especially when it comes to flavoring of the meat and sometimes the portions can vary. For myself, I enjoy going to an eatery where food is consistent in taste, and you always know what your going to get, which is usually the case when there are the same people working there everyday, or at least have the same people preparing the food in advance to be cook, such as preparing meats with spices, etc. I recommend that this establishment not have so many different people preparing food. We love this place. Some of the best food around. The covered outdoor seating is really nice too. I really like that I can call in our order and it's ready by the time I go pick it up. They also take cards (and venmo) which is a huge plus. Everyone is always so nice. When we go late in the day sometimes they are out of shrimp or carnitas but that just tells me they are a well loved place and their asada is super tasty too.
