We met family in Dayton and decided to eat here after seeing their reviews. My family ordered from their regular menu: triple delight, fried Dumplings, crab rangoon, and 2 orders of black pepper chicken; all of which was excellent. I had heard about their authentic Chinese menu and asked for that. It is written mostly in Chinese but has some english, enough that I was pretty sure what i was getting into. I ordered Dim Sum (in this case it was pork and shrimp shumei (spelling?)) and as it was written the "spicy & pot". I am a huge fan of spicy numbing Mala flavors and this was perfect. If you have had szechuan hot pot you know what im talking about, only this was a "dry pot" style. That was an amazing plate of food. The dim sum was good but not as amazing as the rest. My only regret is living so far away... Clean dining area...
Read moreThis is the best Chinese food we've had in this area. They brought fried Wonton strips with sweet and sour sauce so you don't have to order appetizers, but OH SO GLAD WE DID! We had egg rolls and the best crab rangoon I've ever had. We ordered Happy Family, Shrimp Lo Mein and Seafood Delight. ALL food was fresh and arrived faster than I would expect. The seafood in all dishes was good size. They are very creative with the vegs and garnish..above and beyond the norm. I was going to order scallops but figured they'd be over cooked. My husband had them and I tried one, very tender! For the lobster they take a tail and cut it lengthwise leaving it in the shell when served, very good! The staff was so friendly and helpful. We told them we would spread the word. Thank you!...
Read moreLet me tell you if you've never had this place and are reading this review section to figure out if it's worth it then stop wasting your time and just eat, I have been loyal to Rice, Red house and china garden for 13 years, and I regret each individual year that I wanted not eating at this establishment, I'm allergic to MSG so my options are already limited and I tasted this food and thought there's no way that this can be that tasty and not have some workaround like MSG. This place doesn't get as much business as it should because it's heavenly food and it's not just Chinese food it's a mashup of asian cuisines so if you need some pad Thai or some delicious Vietnamese options...
