Baker's Drive-Thru — Restaurant in Riverside

UPDATE: I’ve been in their drive-through line for 10 minutes so far. Only one car got their food so far. And there are at least 5 cars ahead of me. At this rate it will take about an hour to get to the front of the line! So this is the slowest drive through line I’ve ever been in! And I’ll never go through it again! So don’t ever try it if you’re in a hurry to get your food!

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I’ve been going to Bakers for over 20 years. And I normally go to the one about a mile away from my house for the last 10 years. But today was the worst experience I ever remember having at any Bakers location.

There is no wait for me to order my two items in the lobby. But I had to wait 15 minutes to get my food. So it looked like I could’ve drove through with at least 5 cars in front of me, quicker than walking in with no line.

I ordered a Been & Cheese Burrito with Chicken, Lettuce, Tomato & Green Sauce added. But when I got it, it didn’t have anything added to it. And when I complained to the Manager, she immediately handed me another bag and said they gave me the wrong order. But after eating about a third of it, I noticed there was still no Chicken in it. And I complained to the manager again, and they finally made it correctly for me.

By the time I got my food made correctly and ate it, I missed half of my church. So I don’t recommend this location!

2ND UPDATE: Their hours on here say they are open until 11:30 PM Sunday through Thursday night. But they were closed at 10:55 PM the last few times I tried to go there!

I usually stop here for a brc burrito. Baker's food is not terrible, it's actually good. Their choice of people that they hire though I think is not good. I stopped here for the restroom and a quick bite to eat on my way back from a delivery. And was greeted by very rude customer service. I will not name names but I think bakers should evaluate their employees and train them to have the utmost customer service and they might find their business will pick up a little. Every time I come here it's slow when I asked to use the restroom before ordering I was denied the restroom and told I had to make a purchase 1st where I left my wallet in the car so I could go through the drive-through to get back on the road. I went to get my wallet and came back in to make a purchase and was treated very rudely and denied service. Even the cooks had nothing to say because the woman taking orders apparently thinks she's in charge. Of who can use the restroom and who can't. To tell you the truth the door to the restroom was open and I could have just walked in but I was polite and asked to use it 1st. Will not be coming back to this location ever again. This is my first review and sadly it had to take this horrible experience to make it. We’ve been here before and the service has always been pretty slow but nothing like today. There was only 1 car in front of us and we waited for 2 shakes for 30 minutes. When we got to the window the girl did not apologize and asked us to park in the parking lot to wait for our shakes. At that point I said something to her and she said that they were short staffed and that they had a new shake machine. While this is understandable, there’s no way 2 shakes should take 30 minutes especially when there is no customers inside and only one car in front of us.
