UPDATE OCT 16, 2025: Changing my 3 star rating to 5 STARS because they have been perfect every return visit since but MORESO after seeing the response Baker's left on my review. Now that's how you respond to customers. On my way over right now to give you guys more business while I'm in Riverside! JULY 2025 - ORIGINAL REVIEW This was my first time going to this Baker's after trying a few other ones throughout Riverside; and I must honestly say, that it seems like the other Baker's in the area actually give out decent — or even moreso "generous" — portions for their orders.
When I went here tonight, I legitimately could NOT stop myself from having an honest true laugh when I opened my hardshell veggie taco wrapper.
The main reason was because of the tomatoes. I usually never order anything with tomatoes because it makes the corn/flour tortilla soggy and ruined if I don't eat it right away, which often ends up happening, so I just stopped including any of those all together. Tonight, however, I knew for a fact I would eat my taco immediately upon getting it, so I figured I'd actually leave the tomatoes this time because I do enjoy them in a taco when it all comes down to it. So I didn't omit the tomatoes. Well, when I opened my wrapper, I started dying. (See photo below) There were, NO JOKE.... 2 TOTAL DICED TOMATOES put on it. 2. Literally that's how much was included on a taco that was supposed to include tomatoes.... 2 dime sized little diced tomato squares. So I found that pretty funny.
The other thing that I joked about was the fact that the entire first bite of my taco was literally nothing but the tortilla shell. So basically a thick tortilla chip. There was barely anything included in my taco. Definitely got a little stingy on the portions this time we ordered. And the other Baker's were NOT the same. I had no reason to laugh when I had that food; only pure satisfaction.
Don't get me wrong, the food was still super delicious. It was just lacking on portion sizes.
But holy crap, is that Orange Fanta Shake SERIOUSLY AMAZING!!

Read moreI had a horrible experience with the team leader or perhaps supervisor Lynda at this location. I drove up to the drive thru speaker and had not yet decided on my meal. I told the drive thru attendant (Lynda, older lady with a hoarse voice) that I needed a moment. She must have forgot to turn off the microphone because she stated "he's not ready yet" in a sarcastic manner. A few seconds later, I ordered my food and her immediate response was "oh, now he's ready to order." Again, in a sarcastic tone under the impression that the microphone was off. I then called her out on it by stating that I could hear everything she said over the speaker. Her response was "no one was talking about you." Rather than take responsibility for her actions she continued with the sarcasm and kept saying "no one was talking about you." I then drove up to the window. Both her and an employee named Raquel were looking at me with a grin. I asked for her name and Lynda began to spell her name out to me. Again, in a sarcastic tone. Unfortunately, this was not the first time I've seen Lynda's unprofessional behavior. She is not friendly and clearly hates her job by the way she treats people. Dined-in with my 2 year old today around 12pm today and even though the food was cold and almost not edible, that was not the worst part of my experience here.
After standing at the register for around 5 mins, I informed the staff that I was ready to place my order. Staff told me to use the kiosk and I informed the staff that I would rather place my order with them. I was then told to wait and they would be out to “teach” me how to use it.
Keeping in mind there was no one else in line that they were “helping” as I saw the staff mostly on their phones and talking amongst each other. While ordering at that kiosk was not too difficult for me, it still took me longer to order than it would’ve taken any staff member to help me out (per my request).
After I receiving my order I saw the same issue with another customer. There was an elderly disabled man that also asked for help/ to order and the staff was absolutely horrible with the man.
I will certainly not be back to this location due to poor food quality and staff unfriendliness.
