Del Taco — Restaurant in Riverside

Update: Was contacted by someone and was told that my next order would be made right so i went in on next taco Tuesday. I asked for a manager and spoke with an older lady who im assuming was a manager and explained the situation about my last experience. She didn't seem to care, i would think that she would oversee the order being made to confirm the food being made right but she just went to the back and disappeared. When i received my tacos they were still full of grease and skimpy. Not sure why it would be hard to strain the grease after the meat is cooked and the can't the person putting the taco together take a little pride in their job and portion the lettuce and cheese evenly? Doesn't seem that difficult. And also while i was waiting for my food a lady came in with a dog and dropped the leash, the dog started to get near me and i had to ask the lady can you please get your dog? I wasn't scared of the dog but i just didn't know if the dog had fleas and i didn't want dog hair on me, shouldn't an employee be taking care of that? Kinda ghetto. I didn't know you could bring your pet into Del taco. Oh and it didn't seem like a service pet either otherwise she probably wouldn't just drop the leash and let her dog just rome around like that. What a horrible experience. This place really let me down.

I’ve been to this location countless times. I was excited about it opening because it’s more convenient than the University Ave. location. However, I am highly dissatisfied with the recent service I’ve received. In the beginning, the service was top notch. Now, not so much.

I know that people make mistakes, which is why I’ve given this location multiple chances. Last night was the last chance I was willing to give.

On several occasions, I’ve ordered tacos with extra lettuce, and on several occasions, I didn’t get what I asked for. Instead, I get broken, and sometimes stale, shells (which is the majority of the taco), a smidge of meat, a sprinkle of cheese, and a few shreds of lettuce. Again, this has happened on multiple visits to this location, even when it isn’t busy. I’ve also had staff members completely forget about drinks.

If you decide to give this place a try, please be sure to thoroughly check your meal before leaving the parking lot. Also, the staff isn’t consistent in giving receipts, so be sure...

If I could I wouldn't even give them one star! I experienced the worst customer service in Del Taco drive thru while my husband and I were ordering the lady immediately cut us of while still ordering, as we approached the window my husband handed her the EBT card she grabbed it all rude. She didn't even wait for him to say the pin when she automatically said it didn't go thru. We ask nicely if she can re try that's when she asked for the pin and still said it wasn't going thru , manager came to assist after they were done whispering to each other who knows what. We were told to use another card which unfortunately we don't have we were disappointed since we always come here and it's our first time ordering a big order for our big family at home.
