Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Riverview

I don't usually take the time to write a review on a restaurant but this time is an exception. I recently had seen that a new pizza place was coming to my area and I was curious on how it was going to be. Well, I finally decided to try it. It was a lazy Sunday after the pool and we had decided to order this new place. Their menu had a wider variety of food than other pizza restaurants I have visited in the past. But although I was slightly surprised, I knew the taste and service would be what mattered. We ordered our pizza, wings, and an additional salad. With our order on the larger side we suspected that it would take around 45 minutes to be done based on previous experience. But, despite the larger order it was done in around 30 minutes. It might have just been because we ordered during less busy hours but still fast service is greatly appreciated by myself. Once we got home the pizza and wings were still almost out of the oven hot which was great, nobody likes to bite into a slice of pizza or a chicken wing and realizing that it's been sitting around for a while and almost gotten to a room temperature. Biting into the pizza was the best thing ever! The tastes all combined to form an excellent slice of pizza. I personally had the all meat pizza which had a great amount of meat and overall had a great ratio of all the toppings. I cannot fathom how this pizza place is so good all around, especially with the fact that it is new and likely had unexperienced and young workers that are trying their best at their first job. In the end I would recommend their pizza to everyone. In the future I will definitively order from here and hopefully get the same undescribable service, taste, and overall atmosphere this excellent pizza place offered. If anyone reading this is skeptical about purchasing and/or eating here this is your sign to DO IT. I cannot believe how great this experience was, and will for most definitely come back and eat here agian. This was the greatest pizza experience I've ever had! Let me start from the beginning, we ordered our food on their website (which by the way was very easy to navigate) after selecting our food and confirming our order we thought it would at least be an hour since our order was “larger” and with previous pizza places thats usually how long it would take, but its different for marcos! It only took about half an hour to be prepared and was ready to be picked up as soon as we got there (it was still almost fresh out of the oven hot when we got home, and we live kinda far from this location) the environment inside the facility was outstanding, especially for a place that is being ran by younger workers doing their best! The workers at the front were so kind, very helpful, and professional. When we got home i quickly went to get a plate, i put a slice of the pizza (meat lovers) along with some wings (buffalo) and started eating. I started with the pizza and when i tell you it was otherworldly im not lying. First of all shout out to the cooks because the topping ratio was amazing! The flavors of the pizza all combined was like a party on my taste buds the pizza was cooked perfectly it was the best pizza I've ever eaten. Moving on to the wings…. The term never judge a book by its cover really comes into play here, now the looks of these wings did not interest me but i decided to eat them anyways, that was one of the best decisions ive ever made because they were impeccable, the flavor was perfect and the chicken was nicely cooked. I did a dumb thing. I ordered groceries, but...I put the delivery time to 10 PM instead of 10 AM. So, the wife and I get done working out, and we need to buy food out, which we rarely do.

She says she wants pizza, and I sigh. You see, we have been very nonplused at all of the pizza places near us. They range from slight below average to terrible (based on my average lifetime pizza eating experiences), and the one place that we used to like decided that they were going to start being awful at some point during COVID. We haven't tried most of the well known national chain places, because you can pretty much expect those to be garbage, possibly literally. But, the wifey is asking for pizza, so I try this Marcos place. I go to their web site and place an order.

It was really good. It was just a solid, well-made, tasty pizza with no problems. I'm not sure what else to say, but if I go to a restaurant, and they do a great job nowadays, they definitely get a five star review from me. I hope they keep up the good work, because there aren't any other good pizza places in the greater Tampa area that I know of! :) Anyways, on those rare occasions that we decided to order out pizza, this will be the place...
