i’ve alternated trying the pizza and bbq both about once a month since the establishment has opened. i took in to consideration working out bugs with a new business and that’s why ive waited to form an opinion overall. i’m not a picky eater and have never had the desire to right a review for a dinning experience but this calls for it. from when i went on opening day until late august, the pizza has never been consistent. its either thick or thin and most of the time both all in 1 pizza. if ordered for pickup, it’s usually hot and does the job but the lunch buffet is normally cold and old pizza. the brisket is always fatty or burnt and also inconsistent. i’ve tried the pulled pork, the pulled chicken and the burnt ends as well. very tough meat. food can be hot and fresh or not fresh and cold. the picture below shows ketchup and bbq sauce side by side. slight difference in color and taste but 1 is 100% ketchup and one is ā€œbbq sauceā€. i wouldn’t recommend anything to anyone at this time. i cannot justify spending roughly 20 dollars a meal for cold or burnt inconsistent food. and over 20 to 30 for take out pizza.

Nothing better than a small town pizza and bbq restaurant! It’s hard to do both correctly and they do it here. We went during the lunch buffet for salad bar and pizza and it was $13.50 which is a great price and totally worth it! The pizza was fresh, hot, and so many different choices from Cuban to sausage and pepperoni to Margherita, Hawaii, and barbecue! We will definitely be back to try the bbq side of things but the pizza for us is 100%. Customer service is great and the girls working were so kind!

My wife and I are new to the area, and figured we would stop by and try out the restaurant (since it’s very busy most of the time). We opted to try the Lunch Pizza Buffet with the salad bar. There were plenty of (fresh) pizza options to choose from. We definitely look forward to coming back and trying the bbq since the Smokehouse pizza was very good!!

Wow! Totally worth a dip up to this tiny town, friendly and fun spot, inviting menu also sharing the site with pizza which we will have to try next time, went all BBQ with friends for memorial weekend. Sampled a brisket and pork belly platter, spicy peach sandwich, fries, slaw, good so good! What did they put in that slaw? Typically a risk, often mushy and dripping with dull greasy mayo, but this slaw could've been a main dish for me, crazy! Fries also a surprise, crispy and gooey at the same time. Pork belly and brisket, all the right flavor, texture, and portion sizes to remind us all why we must visit small town restaurants. This place has it going on. Thankfully it's not far from 24, can...

First the bad. The first time we went, the burnt ends, half if them were very very good, the other half were hard like rocks. I think this issue has been fixed. I had them again and they were good. The brisket seems a little tough to me, but they keep selling out so there's that.

Now the good. Jake & Erin have fixed this place up nice. The atmosphere is friendly and clean. The staff is helpful and friendly. I haven't tried everything on the menu yet, but the smokehouse pizza is crazy good. The tacos are great, loaded fries & chips are fantastic. Egg roles really good. Don't try the funnel cake fries, you will get addicted (just kidding get 2 orders because you won't...
