New update on 03/03/23:
Placed a small mobile order at 6 pm. Restaurant was NOT that busy, but took 15 minutes to get my order ready. Employee called my name, placed the order on the counter & walked away toward the drive-thru. BUT...she forgot the drink. When I finally got someone else's attention, was told they are out of large cups & would have to settle for a medium (not happening...I paid for a large, so you can supply two mediums instead). Was also told they were out of strawberry syrup for the freeze machine. The cheesy potatoes seemed to have been prepared in the microwave from frozen, as the outside was HOT, but the middle was cold & hard. This is a poorly run establishment.
Placed two separate orders via mobile app for drive thru pickup. Got to the drive thru, & were told to come inside. Get inside expecting issues with order, but never did explain why we had to come inside. We were the ONLY ones in the drive thru, so it wasn't like we would have been holding anything up to wait in the drive thru line for them to finish preparing it.
In addition, they left out one of the drinks, & had to ask for it. Another drink was undrinkable because it was OBVIOUSLY VISIBLY low on syrup (the color was almost completely clear for a Mtn Dew Baja Blast), but the employee had paid no attention to that fact.
The cheesy potatoes were pretty much inedible due to being so overcooked (or had been left under heat lamps too long) that they were tough & chewy.
The meat on the crunchwrap was spread so thin that when I was first eating it, I honestly thought they had forgotten to put it on there. Upon investigation, I realized they didn't forget it, they just didn't put the proper amount. You couldn't tell there was any meat on it, unless you separated the bottom two layers of shell & looked closely.
Not impressed with anything this store did tonight. Won't be getting much of...
Read moreI didn't want to do this, but frankly I've just had enough at this point. I don't know what Taco Bell has done to this location, whether they are paying the employees horrendously, or just understaffing to the extreme, but it's quality has absolutely bottomed.
MULTIPLE times now, I have tried to place an order at the drive through, get there to pick it up, the line is backed up for ages, and no one is answering. Not even peak times, still, no one is answering at the drive thru, lines are stuck. I have seen people driving over curbs getting out of the drive thru. I have been stuck in it for close to 45 minutes before just picking up a mobile order when there were only a few people in front of me.
The last time it happened again at 20 minutes in and I still hadn't moved forward at all, like everyone else I just left. No way to refund the food either of course on the app. No chat, no support, no one to talk to.
Fix yourself Taco Bell management, if a location isn't adequately staffed that's on you, no way I'm even trying again at this point.
Yeah I get it, I could have just gone in and asked, but, when this has happened as many times as it has, I'm just done at this point. Oh and icing on the cake, for whatever reason, this location just won't give certain sauce anymore, like Diablo sauce, doesn't matter if I put it, doesn't matter if I ask, nope, every time.
Update: 8 or so months later. It's really disappointing to see that nothing really has changed, and no effort has been made to improve this location at all, it's still best to avoid it. Really disappointing display from Taco...
Read moreFor over 2 years now we've ordered the "sides" of plain potatoes, at many different Taco Bell's including this one. They are $0.50 when ordered as the side vs the $2.49 for the cheesy fiesta potatoes. This is something that TB employees themselves taught us, rather than ordering the cheesy fiesta potatoes plain and still spending $2.49, you can save $2. Today I had a negative experience with this TB in Roanoke, TX. The employee rang up my order of 4 sides of plain potatoes to be $2.46 when I was at the speaker, when I got to the window the employee told me it would be $10.78. I told her that was incorrect and different from what I was told, and she said her manager corrected her and said she rang it up incorrectly. After speaking with the manager she told me the $0.50 option is a "tiny, 2oz" size that would have "2-3 potatoes." I told her we've never heard that and have always ordered the sides of plain potatoes and have gotten the same thing at TBs all over the country. She continued to tell me everyone else is wrong and she's doing it correctly (interesting that 10+ TBs are doing one thing, the employee who rang me up is doing that, but this manager thinks she's correct out of all of these people....). I know it isn't a huge deal, but even saving $8 helps and I didn't appreciate this experience and wanted to share. We've been here many times without an issue...
