Fireside Inn — Restaurant in Robinson Township

We had a wonderful lunch. It had been years since we were there. Our server was so GOOD! and she was running the bar, and running tables and God only knows what else! I apologize I can’t recall her name but she was lovely. All we wanted was a beer battered fish (they offer a regular breaded version too)…. We both ordered the sandwich with ff’s and coleslaw. Now they had other sides, macaroni and cheese - soup - hush puppies, etc. not lying it was absolutely fantastic. They buttered and toasted the bun. It was so delicious! normally, I will order my fish on a plate or remove the bun, but I could not handle it. I had to eat this bun.! . We had zero complaints and the price was just really reasonable especially right now with everything else going - people in my area are charging $17 for a fish ! we highly enjoyed...

Maneee where should I start. The short haired blonde waitress was so rude from the get go. Looked annoyed when me and my friend asked for what drinks they had. I never seen a place that takes 35 minutes to get you chip dip or a waitress to ask what our order was. We ended up leaving after our dip finally came. It was decent but not 35 minutes wait worth. Owner and his wife seemed nice only people who smile around there apparently everyone else is too annoyed by the customers. When getting my change back I was going to tip. Me and my friend usually tip $50s and more because we work in a tip environment so we rest the hustle. She goes on just hands me the money rudely and that right there sealed the deal. No tip deserved. I mean jeez ain’t work there if you hate customers and are gonna prejudge them hun. Smile...

This place is really wonderful! A real gem of a hole-in-the-wall kind of find. They were the only place serving wings whose kitchen was still open after my stepson’s baseball game. We called about a dozen other places first. They were closing the kitchen soon, but told us to come in anyway. Our server was so kind and lovely. Even though she was running the crowded bar area, she still made time to welcome us and treat us like family. Their daily deals are the best in the area, and their wings are good sized.
