Found this new spot about ten days ago. Ordered 3 times within those ten days . Yeah, ik we're greedy. Anyways, the first time we ordered it was thru Uber Eats. Everything was fabulous. Next time was pick up. Completely different experience pizza was horrible . Today, we went in and got pizza, hoagie,& wings..... This pizza needed three to five more minutes in the over for sure compared to the other two pizzas. No crisp on the pepperonis whatsoever. The hoagie for 2nd time was sloppy and not cut. It tasted like someone just fried some steak without salt and pepper and layed it on a Mancini's bun with wilted lettuce and old tomatoes. The wings: I asked them to be fried hard. The person on the phone said no problem. These wings are very rubbery, not sauced well at all. Let me remind you this place isn't cheap. Each order is at least 60 bucks. I guess there's nothing like the first time. I would avoid this place unless they give you the cooks' schedule with the food so you can figure out the best time to order. The food inconsistencies are just so far apart, I had to leave a review to warn others. UPDATE: I tried them again because my Ole lady was craving square pizza. Epic fall! Got the 8 mile well done with double pepperoni and mushrooms. I'll just post the pic before it hits the garbage truck. I mind you, we paid 38 plus bucks for this one pizza . On top of this, not being the pizza, we expected there's ZERO mushrooms and less pepperoni than 1 order of pepperoni. As I stated before. The inconsistencies here are real, and they could careless.

Having just arrived (flight was delayed) and staying at a hotel in the area, I came here on a Sunday night for dinner… There was only one other patron in the joint when I got there, about an hour before they closed. I sat at the bar and the bartender was helpful and friendly and explained the menu nicely… he also checked on me during my stay. The food was awesome! I really liked the fries that came with Cajun seasoning and ranch on them… I got a side of their extremely hot sauce, called “Cry to Mama” and that stuff was VERY HOTTTT!!!! But it wasn’t just straight, silly heat, like so many other hot things, it had a very nice, smokey flavor to it too! I am glad I got it on the side though, as I was able to dip my fries in it, rather than deal with having it on all my fries (Tip: Get it on the side!!). I also ordered their Luca Brasi pizza, as I wanted a little flavor and spice for my pizza. I had been to a Caliente (the one in Sewickley) before, but had a sub, so I never had tried their pizza and I wanted to give it a try. I have to say that the toppings, sauce, and assembly was great… The only issue was the crust was too thick for a hand-tossed-style pizza. They could have knocked off a ¼” of that crust and the ratio of toppings to crust would have been so much better. Overall – Highly recommend stopping in to a Caliente! This is my second visit to one of their joints and I really liked both!

Customer service can make or break an experience. This manager put the nail in this coffin. Done. First, I'm not impressed with their food anyway, but the work crew asked to try the place Ordered a calzone with extra ricotta, buff chick salad, and fried perogies with extra garlic butter sauce. $56.00 with tip At pick up, no sauce. I asked for a little garlic butter sauce. They wanted to charge me $1.50. They forget about the sauce in the first place so this should be complimentary. I mean c'mon! Then I looked in the calzone box, because it looked SMALL for a $20 calzone. No sauce. I asked for a little marinara. $1.50. Nope. Keep your sauce. There was very minimal cheese. I paid extra and still, very, very little cheese. Sad really. There are restaurants like "The Other Place" who do things right and are amazing to their customers. Caliente serves overpriced food with a side of cold attitude. DONE.

We ordered last week, tried the famous pizza mee-maw, a hoagie and a white pizza. Pick up went smooth and on time. I thought it was expensive bill was 83 dollars. Called ordered hoagies for pick up they said 20-25 minutes arrived on time, paid it was not ready. 5 minutes later the cashier said it's coming out of the oven about 5 minutes. 10 minutes later she said I'm so sorry they got busy it will be out. 5 minutes later she said it should be ready in a couple more minutes. Agsin shr said 5 more minutes, I said is there a manager i could speak with? I'm at 45 minutes now. The manager came out and asked my name I explained what was going on, i said how much longer, can I just get a refund? I don't mind waiting but it's taken way over the quoted time. She said let me see what's going on. Everyone disappeared, ppl were waiting to dine in and were shocked. I stood there another 5 minutes and another person came out. I said can I get a refund slip or something she said I don't know how to do that the manager is coming. 7 minutes later the Manger comes out. I asked for my money back or proof it was refunded. She said we don't have slips but it will go back to your account in 3-5 days. I asked if my food was ready and she said you cancelled. I explained that I had been waiting almost an hour and I was told it was almost done so I'm checking to see if the order is done.. Is the order in the back? She said ma'am you canceled your order I'm not sure where it is. I asked for her name and she said I'm the front of the house manager, never have her name. I told her that in a situation like this they should have apologized and given me some kind of discount. I don't mind waiting a long wait time if I'm quoted that time I was quoted 25 minutes Max and have been here an hour. She said hold on one minute then she brought my food out and said your food is done do you want a refund or your food?? I took the food and left. I've been in this business for a long time. The manager should have offered an apology and perhaps a discount.considering how expensive they are, how new the establishment is, you would assume they would treat guest differently. Very unprofessional and the front of the house manager needs a new job she's rude and has zero clue how to manage a restaurant. I will never return or recommend this...

f you’re on the hunt for bold flavors, great vibes, and top-notch service, Caliente is the place to be. I recently had the chance to dine there, and I was seriously impressed from start to finish.

The atmosphere is warm and lively, with just the right mix of modern and Latin-inspired decor. It’s colorful, upbeat, and inviting—perfect whether you’re out with friends or just grabbing a solo bite. Music plays softly in the background, giving the place an energetic feel without being too loud.

Now, onto the best part: the food. Caliente delivers on flavor in a big way. I tried the tacos (a must!) and they were packed with perfectly seasoned meat, fresh toppings, and soft, homemade tortillas. The enchiladas were just as good—rich, saucy, and satisfying. Every dish came out hot and fresh, and it was clear that the ingredients were high quality.

The drinks also deserve a shoutout. Their margaritas are some of the best I’ve had—strong but smooth, and not overly sweet. They’ve got a solid drink menu with plenty of choices if you’re into cocktails or want to try something new.

Service was another highlight. The staff was super friendly and attentive without hovering. They knew the menu well and made great recommendations. It really felt like they cared about the dining experience.

Overall, Caliente is a gem. Whether you’re a fan of Latin food or just looking to try something new, this spot is absolutely worth a visit. I’ll definitely...
