THIS is what local business is all about. No frills but clean, with the most satisfying donuts, kolaches, and croissant sandwiches. Been coming here for years as our weekend ritual and the couple-owners who seem to never get sick, nor take vacation, keep this place running with a smile.

Kolaches are good, however some are very small compared to the rest of the batch. I went there Saturday to get some Kolaches, I was waited on by a young man. I told him I did not want the very small kolaches in the batch, his response was they are all the same kind as he loaded them in the bag any way. A paying customer should get what they ask for. Bakery donuts makes some of the best donuts I’ve ever had. I love their old-fashioned glazed donuts myself. Unfortunately, I always go in when the line is snaking around the room and they are really rushed.
