We just were served diner here with our work associates, we were told to "wrap it up" before one bite because the had pool league coming in, we were not offered another table or to move or anything, the manager was very rude, just told us to leave! We thought this would be a good place and had a good menu but we were kicked out before we could even eat our diner that was served, it's currently 7:20 on a Thursday night. I am flabbergasted that she didn't even offer us another table to eat dinner, she offered us to-go boxes.... We came for a work employee who was retiring and the place was pretty empty when we walked in, we told them we were waiting for a group of 6-8 for a work party and they chose where to seat us so I guess the management didn't think a work/ retirement party would last more than 2 hours. I was questioning whether or not to go here because last time we were here which was quite a while ago (2 years) there was a huge pile of puke in the door entrance that we had to Indiana Jones our way over and they had customers going behind the bar pouring their own drinks and people literally swinging from the bucket lights, I just figured we'd give them another chance because it has been a while and it seemed like a good place for an early dinner... I was wrong!!!! We had an unlimited budget tonight to send off our amazing employee and were having a great time together but weren't even offered a different place to sit once the pool league came in.. I have worked in the bar business for over 20 years and I can't imagine turning away people who were spending money like we were for a pool league without offering a switch of seating (they knew there was pool league so why did they seat us right there and why wouldn't they offer to move us to at least let us eat our diner??) Manager definitely was super rude and just said "wrap it up" 2 minutes after we were served. Our waitress was great and all of the food and service was awesome but the manager has no business running a restaurant (again I'd like to mention my 20 years in the bar/restaurant business this was so unprofessional) I hope the manager who came over to us tonight and told us to "wrap it up" sees this review and realizes how much more money her business could have made by simply offering us to move to a different table, I know how bar pool/poker leagues work and I know your business and your staff would've made so much more money from us than the many water and mountain dew refills that the bar leagues order... Very disappointed again by going to this place. I always give second and 3rd chances but we definitely will never...
Read moreFirst let me start with we chose this restaurant based on its reviews, huge mistake. Looked busy when we arrived so figured it was a good local hang but 1 hour 22 minutes for burgers and drinks is obsurd. The only thing this place didn’t screw up was the drinks. 3 burgers ordered at our table of 4 and they were awful, I’ll bet the Mn Wilds hockey pucks are more tender than these things. Food was cold and inconsistent and am wondering if it sat under heat lamps for an extended period. When asked how was everything we informed our waitress of these issues and she stated that she would try to see what she could do. When our bills came she informed us that the drinks were taken off our bill. Our drink total was $9.25 and you removed $6.66. Now I’m no mathematician but that isn’t the cost of the drinks. No manager came to talk to us, seemed like no one cared. Too bad too, we travel to Rochester often and this was ridiculous. I guess John hardy’s It is, they never let you down!
Update: I receive an email to call a shift manager to try and resolve our issues. Have called twice to speak to one and am told they are “unavailable”. Second time I called I was told to leave information and I stated that I wouldn’t and was told “that’s all I can do”. I see how far customer services goes at this place. Maybe there was no manager on duty the night of our visit and that explains some of the “unforeseen” issues that resulted? Also in response to our drink credit, our total beverage amount was $9.25 plus tax, taxes are figured on the subtotal at the bottom via your receipt. You credited $6.66. You didn’t credit our drinks as stated and I can do simple math. Seems to me that there is no one available to try and resolve...
Read moreOrder was delivered on time and the meal was hot.
4 piece chicken all dark. Chicken was fresh and fried coating was light not heavy. Although I found it lacked taste if anything it was greasy tasting.
The fried cheese was ok. I found 1/3 of the small chunks apparently lost their load in the frier because 1/3 were empty pieces of fried breading.
The ranch dressing which is sold at a .50 cent premium was good although runny, not terrible thick.
The free biscuit was decent.
The fries, which I guess must come with the meal (I never order fries) were enjoyed by my dogs.
Can't tell you what the coleslaw tasted like because despite it being ordered and on my bill, they didn't bring me any. Sucks because I love coldslaw.
Definitely plenty of food regardless of the missing slaw.
I called the restaurant about said slaw. They offered me a cash reimbursement if I wanted to stop by. I said I would. But honestly, not worth the effort. Just happy they offered to make it right. I appreciated that so thanks.
Overall,...
