Caribou Coffee — Restaurant in Rochester

I went through the drive thru this morning. I arrived around 7:43 am. There was no one ahead of me. Dave took my order after having to wait for a couple of seconds. After I ordered I pulled ahead to the window to pay. I ordered one thing. I quickly paid and then I sat and waited. I waited in my car for over ten minutes. In the mean time, I was able to look inside and see what was going on. It was not busy inside with customers and poor Dave was running around franticly taking orders for the drive thru and getting food ready for other costumers that were behind me. The girl that was working the shift with him had a head set on, but was not taking any orders for either the drive thru or inside. She was making drink after drink at a steady pace. I was getting a little upset at the ten minute mark, because now there is a stack of cars behind me waiting to pay and get their orders as well. I was upset that it looked like Dave was doing all the customer service, all the girl did was make drinks. She didn't even help him once with customers. I was finally given a beverage at 8 am. 8 am. And it was the wrong beverage. I quickly corrected her before she could close the window and sat for three more minutes for my order. I finally left the drive thru at 8:03 am. I am a bit upset that it took so long for my order and that Dave seemed to be doing all the customer service work while the girl on shift with him did nothing but...

I've never had a problem with a Caribou Coffee place until now. My wife and I went there yesterday and picked up 2 breakfast sandwiches and a pumpkin chai-latte. First thing when ordering the sandwiches was, "could you please cut them in half," and the response was, "no", "but we can give you a knife so you can." Really, they couldn't cut our sandwiches?? That was one thing, the other thing was when we drove off, the sandwiches were a mess and the pumpkin chi-latte was just a pumpkin latte. One of the reasons I go to Caribou is for their Chai-teas. For some reason, their chi has a lot more spice to it and I thought with the pumpkin it would be even better, but there was no Chai. in it. Also, there was no mixing at all to the drink, once I got down to 1/4 of the drink it was pure syrup, enough to gag on. I spent close to $15 for non-gourmet sandwiches, a bad drink, and crappy service. If I wanted this, I'd go...

A friend and I picked up two large hot caramel crafted presses with an extra shot this morning. One was full and one was about an inch to an inch and a half empty. Given that these are nearly $9.00 drinks that was pretty frustrating. This is not the first time I have had this issue at this location. I called and spoke to Haley who told me this can happen with crafted presses. I worked as a caribou manager for over six years. Hot crafted presses do not look like that nor should they be frothed and have anything settled. Iced ones certainly would fall but we got hot drinks. No offer to refund. No offer to fix it. Not even an apology. Really not a great experience and pretty disappointing give how friendly most of the staff is at this location and that this is the only drive thru coffee option in the south area...
