Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Rock Island

we ordered a meal for a few different health care providers that all work in the same building. we were told that our order would be delivered in 45 minutes. Please note that we work less than 7 miles from pizza and subs location. We had not heard anything from them after 55 minutes since placing the order so we called and they told us they would be there in 1 minute.. another 15 minutes goes by and still no order. We called again and the general manager of the location proceeded to argue with us about have we never been late before? we explained that we have but when you tell someone that you are a minute away and still 15 minutes later and no delivery - its poor customer service. she took our name and number and said that they will never deliver to us anymore. I guess health care workers are not worthy of their delivery service. It is already difficult enough to get a lunch break and carve out that time. They told us on the phone that they got 4 rock island deliveries all at the same time - so they wait until all the food deliveries for that town are made and then go deliver it one by one. So by the time your food arrives it is nice and cold! Please take your business elsewhere. I know we will be. I sadly have seen so many reviews about their poor customer service - and peoples kids who have worked there hated it....

Couldn't dine in and we are visiting a friend in the area so we didn't order. There was nowhere to go eat the food. Sadly it use to be one of our favorite places. Update: This was 11:30 A.M on Thursday March 2nd. That this took place. The owner replied to me on this and shamed me for giving them what they felt was a bad review saying I was "knocking them when they are already down" this was not a bad review it was info that you can't dine in. I am traveling and have no place to take food to eat especially this type of food its hard to eat in a car. Matter a fact I traveled about 1,800 miles and the place I chose to eat was pizza and subs. I am sorry that they felt it was so mean of me. As well as they claim 8 people can't run a normal restaurant. I love their broccoli calzone. Been thinking about it the whole way here. I was sad I couldn't get one. If it was summer we'd of got it and ate outside somewhere. But it's a little to cold here for that. By the way owner! I did not cause your issues! Not my fault you only have 8 employees and need 12 to 13 for dine-in seems like that's a you issue. My kid works at a truck stop restaurant with a big menu of various items in a high tourist and trucking area with 5 people at most working all the time and they run full service dine in...

Been ordering here for years now. I ordered a 2 taco calzonones. The person answering the phone didn't ask us if we wanted taco chips or sour cream. So they must have been new. Also the person who answered the phone seemed very overwhelmed and not very polite. I called back and talked to the so called manager who already had an attitude with her tone on the phone after I explained to her the situation. She told me she wasn't going to send out a new order over a dollar amount of chips we wanted and thought we were supposed to get. I mean really I would have been happy if you brought put a bag of chips...lol...thar being said this took place on Friday February 3, 2023. Understanding that they are busy but this person attitude needs adjustments while dealing with the public. Things are expensive these days and people pay good Money for items these days. To be honest wasn't really looking for compensation just letting them know, but the manager probably should learn how to talk to people! TO THE OWNER FOOD IS GREAT BUT I THINK YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR MANAGER ON THIS NIGHT IN WHICH I GAVE IN...
