We stood at the entry for 15 minute waiting to be seated without even being acknowledged by the workers there. Then, after being seated another 15 minutes without even getting menus, I got up myself and went and grabbed menus for my table.
Another 20 minutes after that, a waitress was finally taking our order. The food actually came out quickly and was pretty good, but we had already finished our food before they brought us the shakes that we had ordered when we ordered our food
All in all, from the time we walked in until the time we were able to get our shakes was almost exactly 60 minutes The ice cream had freezer burn chunks in it.
Meanwhile, a waitress was walking around the restaurant- coughing her lungs out without even covering her mouth. A manager told her to go home, but then she started crying and stayed, continuing to cough all over the restaurant without covering her mouth
Although the food was decent, it doesn’t make up for the remarkably horrible service and I’m unlikely to return in my future trips. Maybe it was just a bad day, but it was bad enough to where I won’t give them a second chance
Total cost for 3 burgers, fries and a shake was $58, about what you would expect at a...
Read moreWe were very disappointed. We asked what came on their appetizer sampler, we were told mushrooms, cheese sticks, deep fried pickles. Apparently they were out of mushrooms and the server forgot to mention this however It had jalepeno poppers which we cant eat and almost the entire basket was filled with pickles. The condiment bar for the burgers had containers of dirty water, not iced down. Maybe two pickles floating in the container of water, one with onions and a 2oz portion cup of ranch and nothing more. No tomatoes, no lettuce. My chef salad was missing the egg and I didn't bother to ask because they were out of alot of food items including the ham for the chef salad. It was sad to pay hard earned money for this experience when we do not dine out often. We overheard another couple sitting next to us commenting on the service and lack of condiments for the burger. I have been in the food industry my entire life and am usually understanding of circumstances however this went beyond that. We will not recommend this...
Read moreI recently visited Chill Grill in Rock Springs, Wyoming and I must say that it was a pretty good place. The restaurant has a 4.5 rating out of 5 on Tripadvisor and is known for its burgers and shakes. The menu is extensive with favorite items like sodas, banana splits and of course burgers etc. The staff is claimed to be efficient and the service demonstrating a high level of quality at Chill Grill. However, when we got there they were only 2 servers and the one we had was brand new. It was not busy when we arrived and they were struggling to keep up. Before we left it was approaching capacity and we watched customers leaving because they weren't being seated. Additionally, the two that were working were not working together at all. The food was great but I had a drink that was supposed to be some type of a cherry soda however it tasted like Seltzer water with ice cream. If properly staffed, this place is 5...
