Restaurante 5 DE MAYO — Restaurant in Rock Springs

Horrible service. Did not bring my order and served everyone else that came in after me who ordered. One of the customers ordered the same thing I did and got their meal before me. When I asked about my order she said "yes it's ready". When she brought me my food it was half the portion of the other customer even though I ordered a grande. The only conclusion I could come up with for the lack of service and portion size is I am not in the color spectrum of the clientel she likes to serve.

(Footnote): Everyone else that was there or came in after me was the shade of clients she prefers.

I thought racism was dead in America since our government says they are peaceful loving people and allows millions of them to enter this country illegally every year, but...

This place is pretty good for being in nowhere WY. It all depends on what you order. I didn’t care for the pastor it had no flavor, the lengua was ok. The Carnitas was ok. But their Birria was dang good! Their rice and beans were top notch! They have decent chili rellenos too. Just wish they used a better cheese and had Ranchero sauce for it. But they make their own tortillas and they a Flippin good!! The staff is top notch too! They truly need a bigger place. They offer menudo and caldo de rez too. Omg....that carne asada burrito was SO GOOD. The red salsa was also spectacular (careful it's spicy!). It was so good, i forgot to breathe as i inhaled it. I think this is the best burrito i have ever eaten in my entire 42 years of life no joke and this is coming from a man that has lived in Los Angeles for 31 years!
