Dave’s Diner — Restaurant in Rock Township

My family just left from eating here on 10/13/24 around 12pm and we will never come back again! Watching the lady cook, do cross contamination on people’s food was disgusting! She was handling raw bacon and other meats without washing her hands. She went on to grab freshly toasted toast and spread butter on them while holding it down. Then she went on to prepare a plate that already had fully cooked food on it waiting for toppings, and reached her hands into a bin of mushrooms and placed them on top of the persons food…yuck!! There were also egg shells all over the floor causing the cook to slip while walking…very lazy and disgusting! I wanted to complain but the people I was with didn’t want me too. This cross contamination went on the entire time we sat there. I hope nobody gets sick from this pure laziness...

Second time I wentva second time the food sucked. It's terrible how they stay open I don't know.

Well update Dave of Dave's diner refused to pay out a hundred dollars on his "amusmeent" machines. To a 75 year old woman. Spoke disrectfull to my wife on the phone. And other than this review I'm rock him in his mouth when I see the coward. If he's not hard to find someone please point me in the right direction. Especially if u want to see him get his jaw broke. I got a life so I've only been rademly stopping in his disgusting diners.

Went here and had a wonderful time speaking with "A Dave" (not the owner) and Crystal. Food was great, but the conversation was the best part.

If you know someone who is fighting with food and losing, bring them during a slow day and come when Dave (not the owner) is working. The story he could tell them, could potentially help save their life. Incredible story and you'd never know it to look at the guy. He looks great and was so pleasant.
