Kandi Kafé — Restaurant in Rockford Township

I didn't see the restaurant because it sits far off in the right corner of the parking lot so you won't see it unless you walk over to the far right, but once you you find it you'll be pleasantly surprised! The owner and her waitress welcomed us like they knew us, eventhough they had met my friends only once before which is how I found out about Kandi's Kafe! I had the "Veggie Omelet", because of allergies! It was very good, and was the only option I could experience besides a big pickle! My friends ordered waffles and pancakes, and they were very pleased with them! Well I ordered from here around the first time it opened and I was disappointed. I ordered the chicken wing breakfast which is eggs, grits and chicken. I also ordered just a side of bacon and pancakes. The pancakes were awesome but my grits was cold because the butter didn’t even melt in them, the scrambled eggs was just ok and I can’t rate the chicken because it wasn’t even inside my breakfast box. I didn’t feel like driving back. I wanted to give the restaurant a second chance but everytime I pop by they’re not open.
