I went here with my Dad yesterday and was really unsatisfied. My Great Grandmother used to live across the street and it's not like it used to be at all. The chocolate milk was not chocolate milk it barely had a hint of chocolate in it. They call themselves having chicken strips that are really just long chicken nuggets, very processed. They charged over $5 for five strips and then they want to charge another $5 for Fry's which does not include drink. Some of their meals do come with coleslaw and garlic bread for about $15. I got the biscuits and gravy over hash browns and underneath my biscuits and gravy there were barely any hash browns but they made it look like there was, covered in gravy. The salt and pepper was empty. We had to find our own. They would not allow any customers to order chicken that we're coming in because they were about to shut down for the afternoon. The waitresses were complaining a lot, about small tips and a variety of complaints. The waitresses we're having us unplug stuff and move stuff around to help them closed down as we were finishing up our lunch. The waitress NEVER came and asked us for refills or anything else until after w paid our bill and was leaving. During taking our order the waitress seemed very impatient. I didn't mention anything to Mr C sitting in the dining room. Because we...
Read moreI ordered out today. I walked in proceeded to the check out window and stood there for two to three minutes. Neither the cook nor the waitress acknowledged me. I walked around a little and sat down for a few. The same waitress came out took someone's order and returned to the kitchen area. I went back to the window. The cook and waitress viewed me again and not once greeted me with a simple "hello!" Or "Someone will be with you in a moment." After standing there for another two minutes or so the waitress finally walked towards me slammed something down loudly on the metal counter and immediately I turned and left. I don't want someone with horrible customer service and a bad attitude handling my food. Ones care for the quality of your food is not at it's best when one is angry or disgruntled. Did I mention there was food packaged for takeout on the counter when I first walked in!🤔 Whether the food was mine or not I will never know. This is the second time I have visited Mr.C's establishment and not been acknowledged or greeted for takeout. Also in the past when dinning I've experienced slow service and the waitress forgets to bring requested items. Good food horrible customer services!!! Mr.C, I'm extremely disappointed. Your staff desperately needs customer service...
Read moreCame again for lunch. Got popcorn chicken dinner and a chicken nuggets with cheese curds. The nuggets were just cheap kids nuggets from a freezer bag. No flavor. Curds were very good. Crisp, squeaky, perfect. The shrimp breading was so salty, I had to peel it off and saw the shrimp was only 10% of the item, it was 90% breading. The fries were bland, soft, no salt or seasoning at all. But our drinks, a sweet tea and pepsi, were awesome. Pepsi reminded us of old school soda from a mall arcade in the 90's. The sweet tea was super sweet, very good.
This visit was for breakfast, and it was awesome. Very happy with everything.
We've been here 4 times now and it's been great. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The food has been top quality every time and very consistent. The other patrons are mostly regulars that treat everyone like family. The menu has a bit of everything so you can always find something you're in the mood for. Like many small businesses, they are being hit had by covid. Rising costs of food and a shortage of staff are not however bringing the quality of their delicious food down. The owner has been here every time cooking and entertaining guests and he is genuinely upset about raising some prices. So come on out and show your support for local...
