Primo Pizza — Restaurant in Rocklin

The folks at Primos are family to all of their customers. The genuine customer service is beyond reproach. We always have a hard time deciding what to enjoy, the burgers are big, juicy and trimmed with only the best accompaniments! The RIBS are better than all the local BBQ places, hands down. And the pizza, the signature dish, has enough variety and amazing flavors to please everyone! I personally love their red sauce!! And if you know pizza like I do, there are two keys to a great pizza, the sauce and the crust, Primos has them both dialed in! Rated in the top 5% globally on the O'Neill International Pizza Quality Scale (OIPQS). ;) The fries are good any style you choose, our favorite is garlic, and the onion rings are the best beer-battered around, try them with a side of Ranch!

The full bar enables a libation to be paired with any entree, and the beer tap always has great micobrew options as well. Our favorite lately has been the Coronado Orange Ave Wit, the 2014 Champion Winner for mid-sized brewing company and Brew Master. California Wit, a wheat beer brewed with honey and spices, 5.2% Alc/Vol.

We made reservations for two tables for our baseball team in celebration of our son's 14th birthday. There was a small group occupying the second table when we arrived but they were finishing their meal so we all crushed in around the one larger table. The people at the other table ended up staying for the entire time. The rest of our group was seated at a table outside. The staff was wonderful and patient with our group. They were attentive to drinks and various requests for ranch. 😉 I had the pasta Toscano with grilled chicken and my daughter had the onion ring burger. Mine was delicious and I had to force myself not to eat the entire thing. The cheesy garlic bread was perfect and not too crunchy so that it hurts your gums. The boys ordered some cheese and pepperoni pizzas. The husband said that there wasn't a lot of flavor, and that he would have liked to have tried the pesto. My son had the tortellini and evidently liked it because he ate like he just got out of prison 🙄. My daughter likes her burgers with nothing on them but bbq sauce. They did a great with her request. I may have just eaten the best hamburger in my life! I tore into it as soon as it hit the table and had already eaten half of it before taking the photos, so they don't do it justice. My husband had the fish and chips, which he said were great, and he's picky about that.

We were near the kitchen, and everything that came out of there looked delicious.

This is a cool spot with atmosphere that is a blend between sports bar and Italian pizzeria/cafe. Sounds weird, but it works. The place was packed when we came in, but I took the photos around 2pm after it cleared out some. (I don't take photos of people without their permission when I post online) Service was top notch and everyone was very friendly. I can't wait to go back and try some of their pizza and other dishes.

Update: went back to sample the pizza and was not disappointed. The thin crust was good and there were plenty of toppings. We tried the Suprimo and the Meat Lovers with added pineapple....
