We were in here a week ago to get my dad a new phone for his 76th birthday – this was our first visit to this location. We had mentally prepped ourselves for a mildly frustrating process as other Verizon stores in the area have provided underwhelming service over the years, to say the least. Our plan was to head to the Apple Store if the visit to Verizon became frustrating. To our VERY pleasant surprise, our experience was outstanding! We walked in without an appointment and Matthew asked us what brought us in and was up front with the wait time being about an hour as there were ac couple of appointments ahead of us. We grabbed a bite to eat nearby and came back only to have what I will call the BEST experience I’ve had at a Verizon store in over 20 years! Matthew was patient with my dad and me, he clearly explained every question we had, and he was up front about what charges to expect on my dad’s next bill. Matthew helped us get the old phone transferred to the new one painlessly, wiped the old phone and took care of the trade in without any hassle. He even looked up my account while the phones were transferring and let me know what my options were for upgrade as well – had I lived locally, I would have ordered it though him that day, no questions asked (my phone was not in stock and could only be shipped to the store if he were to order it that day). He suggested I head into my local Verizon store or order online when I got home to ensure I could take advantage of the current promo. My husband and I received notification email from Verizon the phones were at the store AND we called to ensure they were there as our daughter was driving up from out of town to port her new phone. Enrique Vegas and Manager Ricky Jackson were horribly rude, stalled us there for hours demanding we purchase the iPhone 16 pro max (which we didn’t want) until our phones could be ready-ordered, they were literally screaming at us in the store when we showed them proof our phones had been delivered there. I hope the Owner checks the video footage from Tuesday Aug 26 at 5 pm. They would give no explanation as to where our phones were, and then Ricky who had left store called back on cell phone and started screaming at us. We immediately went to corporate office on Douglas Blvd in Roseville. Upon further investigation, our phones had in fact been delivered and signed for by Ricky. Corporate was very apologetic, immediately set us up with the phones we needed, waived our activation fee for all the frustration we went through, only charged us $160 for the taxes, not $360 we had been quoted by Milo who sold us the phones. Today my previous review disappeared, and received call from the store asking me to remove my review and “ Verizon support” is calling me non- stop from recorded line.    Read moreGoing on 15 years with verizon, I've always had inconsistent service at this location, some days the guy working knows all the inns and outs, giving accurate, knowledgeable information so you can make the best decision. Some days you get service like I received today. I called hours ago and made an appointment for 3pm, knkwing how slow this location can be at times. arriving 10 min early, checking in over text and standing there patiently with the hopes of solving multiple issues. The man asked what I needed, I said multiple things but we can start with deactiving a couple lines off my account. He states he can't do that in store and has technical support call me, then he goes back to the people he was helping when I walked in. Technical support didn't know why I was sent to them but he was helping me. While talking with them in the lobby, I was asked to leave the store so they could lock up for lunch. It's 3:10pm, my appointment was for 3pm... got kicked out of the store 10 minutes after my appointment started, while on the phone with technical support. Had to park at Chipotle to finish my phone call.... all that to save $19 a month and got nothing else figured out. I'll be going to another location...
