This store has friendly and helpful staff. Jessie and Sonia definitely have great personalities to assist the public. With my gloves on, I could not get the plastic bags open to pick up apples for 8 neighbors. Jessie was busy but she stopped what she was busy doing and bagged plus tied up my apples for me. I needed 3 more bags of apples which were in another area of the store. She told me to keep shopping and she would get them for me. I ran into my neighbor and her teen age son who is interested in a part-time job at Bel Air. She talked to him about Bel Air plus their love for families as a corporation. She informed him of how to apply for the job on line. She told him to make a practice of never being late. His mom was impressed also. I really enjoy shopping here. You would love Sonia also. It does not matter how busy she is, she has time to smile and lend a helping hand. Their meat dept. Is helpful also but I can't remember his name. You can't miss him. He is very tall. Read moreThis store sells "premium" ice. The ice is supposed to cylindrical in shape with a hole through the middle. For the almost 2 years the so called premium ice has been left to melt and smashed to smithereens before being placed in the freezer at the front of the store. I have complained about this on numerous occasions but to no avail. The last time I complained I overheard one of the clerks talking smack about me. How rude. Instead of making fun of the customers maybe you should take better care of the groceries. If you are treating the ice this way I cringe to think about all the other perishables that are neglected in this manner. I'll be contacting the corporate office again. Hopefully they'll take my complaint seriously since we now have clerks at this location making fun of customers. Shame on you...
Read moreI had ordered a cake here for my coworkers going away party and had a set time to pick it up at 7am. I arrived to pick up my cake and was told the designer was not in and it should be ready about 730am. I went in at that time and the designer was still not there. The guy in the bakery (forgot his name) but he was super apologetic and let me know that there was some miscommunication as to when the designer would actually be in. He refunded me half of what I paid for the cake, and continued to apologize. Even though I was late to work, they did a great job on the cake and this gentleman's customer service made up for the miscommunication. This store is by far still the best and I will continue...
