Linda's Place Restaurant — Restaurant in Rockmart

Update from my previous review:

Usually have breakfast only here but today decided to try the lunch special, and man am I glad we did!

Today I had the chicken and dressing with green beans and potato salad and cornbread. Holy cow that was delicious.

Wife had steak and gravy with vegetable soup and green beans, which was delicious also, and our dad had the grilled ham with veggie soup and cole slaw.

Everything was incredible. Now the problem is deciding what to eat when we come back!

Previous review: Best breakfast place in town. I come here every week or so for my favorite breakfast.

This restaurant is clean, the staff is awesome, they make you feel comfortable and at home, the service is extremely fast, and the food is excellent quality and you get a lot of food for your money.

I usually get the 2 eggs over medium, city ham, grits or hash browns, toast or biscuit. The ham is huge and fresh, no gristle, the biscuits are made from scratch and soft and tasty. The grits are good, not as thick as I like but good, and nothing is greasy, even the hash browns.

The owner is a GREAT guy that cares about his staff and it shows, all of his employees are happy and love their jobs, and that translates into a good experience for all.

I'll be back many more times and...

Edit a few years later: had absolutely no access issues with my service dog. Nobody even acknowledged I had one! (service dog owners love this!!!) the staff is super friendly, the food is fantastic and the prices are wonderful (: The owner never called us back about our wallets that were stolen from there to tell us if they saw anything on the cameras, but the person who stole them and every dime we had ended up sending it back and the employees were so incredibly kind. I'm not going to give any less than 3, because when I went in for breakfast without my service dog I got great service and the food was excellent. Today, however, we went in with my service dog and we were told immidietly she was not allowed. We went and looked for what we were hunting for and they didn't have it, fine, we walk out and say to have a great day, in which the employee doesn't even reply mind you they were so kind before I brought my service dog in. I just moved in the area, so I was excited to visit this location. I hope they can update themselves on ADA laws to be more accommodating for everyone, including service dogs...

We love this place! Great food and excellent service!! One thing not happy about is the Manager seems to get upset when our server calls us by name and sits for a second or gives us hugs. I love to feel like family!! Don't know what his problem is but he needs to chill out!! We come along way once a week and we always sit in our server Cindy section. She knows what we like and always gets our drinks before we even have a chance to sit. Today I observed him getting on to her because she sit with us for just a second. Management needs to quit picking out small things that make you feel at home. He needs to come around and talk to his customers.
