Both my husband loved the large hot cocoas with a bountiful amount of whipped cream. He had the regular French toast combo and I chose the cinnamon French toast. His was nice and fluffy, very tasty, just as you would expect a good French toast to be, on thick bread.
Mine, however, I was NOT happy with. It was a cinnamon bread, much thinner and smaller. It would make a great bread for toast alone. I didn't finish half of it. I would much rather have had cinnamon sprinkled on the regular French Toast, as it is being put in the pan. I won't order this again.
From looking at other's orders, the portions were good sized and the food smelled absolutely delicious. Our eggs and bacon, plus my side of sausage all were perfectly cooked and yummy.
I really would give a 4 1/2 rating. The place was busy, but clean, and the service was super friendly and helpful. We loved the atmosphere. We will definitely be back and recommend visiting if you are in the area. Prices are normal for the area and...
Read moreThe first time I went to Nora's place it was very good very good coffee but as time went on they wouldn't get the eggs right and they would take them back and redo them which is fine well today I went in with my husband and we ordered a cinnamon breakfast when I got my breakfast it came back really quick to the table the cinnamon was cold I told the waitress could you please remake these because they are cold she took them and brought them back and said um we microwaved them unacceptable I told her I'd like them remade the owner came back to the table and said youe have always complaints here please leave I will never return and if you want to go to Nora's make sure that you to not want your food the way you want it. To make matters worse she told us that we complain too much and that we need to find somewhere else to eat. so my advice is if you do not like your food microwaved for you do not go to this restaurant or you will be kicked out if you complain. this is all true I am...
Read moreEasy parking, convenient location, warm exterior. Ok...the "outside" done...how about the inside, that which counts the most? We, Jean and I, brought my 93 year old mother. She said, when I asked "how 'bout Nora's?"..."oh...Swedish pancakes! " So off we go. Jean had Turkey wrap with Chicken and dumpling soup. Mom? Well of course those Swedish pancakes, sausage patties and an orange juice. Finally... I had a French dip and 2 of those Swedish pancakes. Jean said "YUMMmm, delicious". Mom - she was fast at it... and me? Well I've always loved a well made French dip. And that, a WELL made one, is somewhat of a crapshoot. But not here. The beef was ultra tender and abundant. The perrrrfect bun...and au jous to die for. Oh - and those fantastic Swedish pancakes. Exceptional service, good pricing and...
