Gardner's Barbecue Fairview Road — Restaurant in Rocky Mount

The Flagship location is always a long wait and I can understand bcos the other 2 locations are horrible. Sunset never get your order right. I ordered dark meat but no thigh so i was told the extra leg would be an extra charge. I said okay. The employee came out saying combo with two legs and when i get home i got a leg quarter. You must and got to check your orders even when they yell out what you think you have. Customers eating in are complaining of too much salt overcooked food. They were out of towners that use to live here. The Fairview area smell sour over the burnt grease smell. The carpet in the dining area is nasty and smells. Who has carpet in the dining area with grease spots and stains. Cleanliness is next to Godliness. Even on Sundays after church they might have 2 cars. Please send some help from the Flagship location to get it together. Y'all need to take care of these locations bcos the community need good service in their neighborhood instead of driving way cross town to be met with long wait times or just...

Absolutely amazing service! We were ordering for 8 people on Mother's Day. We started to order online but we were told it would be a one hour wait before we could pick up our food. While we were ordering $80 worth of food, we felt like it shouldn't take that long to get it so we decided to just drive up there & order (we were right around the corner). Best decision!

After placing our order w the sweet girl at the register, it only took 30 minutes ti get everything! Not only were the employees friendly & efficient, we saw the general manager back there working alongside her employees! I loved seeing this! I have worked with some managers in my years in food service that felt like they were about working on the line. It was a breath of fresh air to see this in their management team! She also spoke to us personally on our way out & made sure we didn't leave without our tea!

Not very good. Was asked to pull around to front, then someone came out & told me they did not have chicken breast as ordered & would I take wings. Then I was told it would be twenty minutes before chicken breast would be ready. Then the girl came out & said they did have breast to fill my order. Upon receiving my order, which was wrong. I did not have my bar-b-que & sweet potatoes pie. I had to go back inside, then was told they had to cook my sweet potatoes pie, which took another ten minutes. I have not eaten at this location in a long time, because the service is never what it should be. I thought I might try again, but will not try anymore. After all this time I spent trying to get my order the food was cold by the time I got home. Much improvement needs to be administrated at this location.
