Hot Shots Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Rocky Mount

Went here for a friend's birthday on a warm day. We decided to eat outside so we where told we had to order and pay and they would bring it out . We thought it was odd to pay for food and drinks before getting them on top of that there was a tip already added before we even got served. Food came out in 15 min in to go boxs. Half our food was cold and less then a handful of frys for each side after being charged extra to add. When we went to get a table outside they where all covered in bird crap and pollen. My son went inside to ask for a rag to wipe the table down the host told him with a attitude it's not going to make a difference and refused to give him anything to wipe the table with. Once my son told me this I decided to go in and find out what the problem was the host came barging out of the door and headed to our table before I made it inside, then she proceeds to slam her rag on our table and aggressively wipe the table down. She tells our group to move if you want me to wipe the table down. While we are out side we only had our waitress come out twice to see if we where done no offer for refills etc. This will be the very last time this place gets...

Hot shots is very family friendly and accommodating. Very friendly staff. Wednesday and Friday nights are busy from 7 till close. But as expected considering music and the fact that its hard to find good help now a days,but they do the best they can and got to us quicker than we thought they're short staffed. Everyone is very very friendly 🙂 it needs improvement but they take every suggestion to heart ❤ and love the requests to do better. I can't blame them bc its hard to find good help now a days. The mini golf course is excellent, and the axe throwing is awesome! If we signed a waiver, we could allow our children to throw axes without being charged to test thier strength 💪 and they also had a plastic target that wasn't being charged either. You can buy a pitcher of beer or have food delivered to you at the axe barn as well. Very good place for a family fun experience. Or overall a great time. I highly recommend the burgers. They're from a local farm and fresh ground beef. 7 0z. Burgers! To die for!...

I have been going to Hot Shots Bar and Grill for a number of years now. The Friday night live music is fantastic during the warm months and with the stages you will have plenty of space for any group. Bartender outside does the job on busy nights very good. Inside is for the less hectic life and very comfortable. I find every member of the staff have been able to make me feel welcome and happy. Unreal food from the grill and lunch specials all week. If you want good food and yes better conversation with good people this is the best way to do so. All year on Friday night the live music is something that brings you to be a part of the Lake crowd. I have made many friends who are fun to be with and I love the fact that I am met with hugs and care. Reminds me of the old places I used to be in on weekends years ago. Highly recommend HOT SHOTS BAR AND GRILL for anyone interested a relaxed atmosphere and smiling faces. Keep up the good work and I will be there. Come by...
