Haywood's in Westlake is phenomenal. Especially Joanna. Initially we were working with a different jeweler at a different store to have my engagement ring resized, but after 3 attempts we were left with a damaged ring and broken hearted. The quality of work done to the ring was awful. My fiance began asking around and was told to go to Joanna at Haywoods in Westlake (by several people). Covid quarantine hit and even though at our first meeting we were unable to drop the ring off, Joanna was happy to look at the work, and give us her thoughts on what could be done. A few weeks later, restrictions lifted enough for her to be able to take the ring and work on it. After a few weeks (and ordering our wedding bands with Joanna) all of our rings were ready for pick up. I was so anxious to see the ring. 3x with the previous jeweler I got a cracked band, damaged setting, and a discolored ring (they didnt rhodium the ring after working on it). Needless to say, I didn't want to get my hopes up. Joanna brought our rings out and set down my engagement ring. Absolutely gorgeous! The setting was fixed, the stones were shining, the white gold was actually white! The band wasn't cracked! I cried. For almost 8 months Ive been engaged and except for the 2 weeks before we tried to have the ring resized the first time, I havent worn it or havent had it to wear. Im not a crier and I cried. Purchased a gold chain early March 2022. Found a broken spot in April. Took it back on Friday April 22. Was told by one employee that i have a light chain etc. Gentleman behind the counter says it a strong chain. I was told it's normal, not a big deal. Asked to exchange and was told they would repair it free since it's the First break. How Many breaks are they expecting?!? They told me it would be ready the beginning of the following week. Now a week later, same Ole story it will be ready at the beginning of next week! STRONGLY RECONMEND NOT...

I recently had several interactions with this wonderful jewelry store. They help me with some estate jewelry and I was amazed at the value of some of the pieces I sold them. All the staff at Jo and Co were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I decided to have one of my diamond rings updated and then have a new custom gold and diamond ring made. My “new” rings are just perfect and I cannot imagine any other jewelry store could have done a better job. I am thrilled and would highly recommend this wonderful store!!
