JJ's Kitchen — Restaurant in Rocky Mount

This place is very small but the food is so good that when I arrived it was packed and while I waited, more customers had come by. There is a drive through and plenty of space to park. The staff is very courteous and friendly. I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak hoagie with Fries and a large mountain dew. The price came out to about $12.78 and it was absolutely delicious! Some restaurants don't really toast their hoagie all that much or not enough so you end up tasting a lot of bread but here at JJ's they toast their bread to perfection leaving you with that perfect ratio of extra meat to bread and the bread is buttered with a crisp to it (not crunchy). Also the fries it came with were fried perfect. Fresh gold and crispy. It was all very tasty and I believe worth the amount they charge. The nearest burger joint is Carl Jr. which is a block away and JJ's gottem beat by a landslide on both quality and price. I definitely...

Great place,good home style cooking and they close at 2 pm..breakfast and lunch only..real old school diner.. regardless if you're looking for online menu's, over the Web information, or dinner..look elsewhere..this is the way it use to be,the way it is and the way Utsav going to be..little tolerance for whiny people that don't get their way (cough!!!!trump voters) this is a great place for some good southern cooking and a friendly atmosphere at a decent price ...old America not concerned with wringing the last few dollars out of people just wanting some simple...

This is without a doubt the best breakfast in Rocky Mount NC, quite possibly the entire east coast, any kind of biscuits you could want cooked the Carolina country way, I get the link sausage with hoop cheese or the pork tenderloin with hoop cheese sometimes both and it is the best thing since sunshine appeared. They off plates as well that are equally great, also a great place for lunch, I have been going here since the late 80s early 90s and have not yet found anywhere better, don't let the small size fool you as it really is food...
