Horrible company!! Let's start from the beginning...I went in about 2 months ago to have my mattress replaced with the warranty. No problem. I decided to go from a king size down to a queen size. The sales person was helpful and got that situation handled for me. I was so pleased, I decided to purchase a bedroom suite. Loved the way it looked. Finally get it home and set up. Well after a few days, we noticed the mattress and box spring were not the size and the bed frame. After moving things around we realized either the bed was too big or the mattress and box spring was too small. At this point, we are even using a pool noodle so the box spring won't slide around. After calling the store and waiting for a response on what to do, they decided to come to the house to inspect. The guy who came out even said he had never seen anything like it before. After much waiting, they decided they would take the headboard, footboard, and rails back. I told them that I wanted the nightstand, mirror, and dresser to go back as well. At this point, I owed no money. I was told the bigger pieces could NOT be returned because it was part of a bedroom suite . But they had no problem taking back the headboard, footboard, and rails!! Fast forward 2 months ahead....I have yet to make a payment. I have been absolutely disgusted with this company. I even tried to call to make a partial pymt and was told I could NOT do that. I have received no collection calls. Today, I got a final demand notice in the mail. I called and talked to credit services. She informed me that now that I'm 2 months behind, they can now pick up the rest of the furniture but it will go on my credit as a repo. She also said I would not be able to shop there for 5 years. I told her that was fine with me because I DO NOT EVER PLAN ON DOING BUSINESS WITH BADCOCK AGAIN!!!! I'm still stuck with with this crappy mattress that is shorter than the boxspring, and they are both under warranty! I'm disgusted with...
Read moreHorrible service, just bought a home closing on 1st of May. and was in the area for shopping for a living room set. I was referred to come to Badcock. There was 2 ladies there both name Cat. The 2nd lady was very rude to the 1st associate. However the 2nd lady name cat, took our application, but keep being judgemental about our ID and SSN card. They took down the address that we are moving into vs out current address and stated they need more information and etc. This is crazy, all we were doing is trying to see if we can get approve for line of credit, and we couldn't even get to that part because of how rude she was. Im big on customer service and this was the worst experience especially as I try to get my home furnished. As I getting my husband into the car, I wanted to go back in to get name card manager name and etc. The lady closed and locked the doors at 5:55pm. The store closes at 6pm, and there was still customers in there. Is this normal, to lock a door with customers in there. What if a fire happened? So I got the manager name and info but the lady mention he is on vacation. End of story, we went to Conns right across the street and was approve for 6000.00 line of credit. The sales associate there was pleasant took their time to explain the process. We will not be going back to this place. Please do improve...
Read moreI was very dissatisfied, with the customer service at the Rocky Mount, store...I ordered a sectional couch, paid cash money for it, went and picked it up my self, because I really didnt know if they where capable of ordering it, no less than delivering it to my home, take into consideration, this was my first time shopping here...The attitudes of the employees where horrible, clearly they need training, in how to treat customers...If they don't like there job, quit....there are lots of people that need jobs out there....Well, when i returned to pick up my sectional, the boxes where treated roughly, and i was missing my center console, so they brought one out, and get this , it was scratched all up, i told the guy, i am not having this...I paid alot of cash money for this and i am not taking a used part,,the guy goes on to say, oh no, its not used...Well, come to find out from another employee, a lady had ordered it, got it home, didnt like it and brought it back, and they where going to pass it over on me, I dont think so...MY MONEY COMES TO HARD,,,I paid for new, i want new...wouldnt recommend this store to...
