Pepperoni's Pizza — Restaurant in Rome City

Called to order delivery and the phone was laid on the counter for 15 minutes while I was treated to listening to the owner telling someone why they didn't get their delivery yesterday, she did not accept any responsibility. No one picked up the phone so I hung up and called back, still giving them the benefit of the doubt. The employee was young and not very professional. She said the pizza would be ready in an hour. An hour and 20 minutes later I called to check maybe the driver was lost? No driver was having car problems but had just picked up all of his orders and was on his way. 30 minutes latet I called again and was treated to screaming from the owner. She at first didn't have any order for me, then it was already on the way and I could not cancel she continued to scream each time I attempted to say something. I hung up. 10 minutes later the driver shows up. I asked when the pizza had come out of the oven and he had no clue. It should have been an hour old at this point. I apologized for his time but refused the order. Did I get charged? No because the unprofessional kid who took my order didn't want to bother taking my payment info. I tried...

I have a hard time giving out five star reviews but I think this place earned it. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of our pizza from Pepperonis in Rome City. We ordered 10 large pizzas for a rehearsal dinner to be ready at 5:45 on a Friday night. This place was absolutely amazing. They had all of our pizzas ready to go when we got there. Wonderful people and food!! Deb and Alan are great hosts! We went early and were lucky enough to hit a slow time, so had a chance to chat with them. Deb waited on us, (hubby worked on their electric so had already met them), our yummy appetizer was less than 5 minutes coming, best breaded mushrooms and onion rings I've had in awhile. We couldn't make up our mind so half extra pepperoni, half Sylvan feast on the pizza. It was loaded with toppings all the way to the edge with heaps of cheese. This is our new pizza go-to for sure!
