Captain Nemo's Sandwiches — Restaurant in Romulus

Was in town for business and found this highly rated local shop on google so I was anxious to check it out. As some others have said, the women who were running the shop at about 1230 were less than friendly. I ordered a Corned Beef Sub with Cheese. They told me it would be a long wait, and about 20 minutes later, it was brought out to me on the deck. I noticed they had a wi-fi hotspot so I asked the woman if there was a password, and she gruffly said she did not have one, and left. On opening my sub, I noticed there was a small portion of corned beef, covered in a mountain of shredded lettuce, onions, and oil. No cheese. I decided it was useless to go try and speak to them about the missing cheese, as their attitude had already told me I would get no satisfaction. The best part of the sub was the toasted roll. I know that during busy times it is hard to keep up and also give caring customer service, but these folks need a refresher...

Food is great but the customer service is horrible and the owner or manager allows her staff to be rude and short with paying customers they mess up on your food and get mad if you ask for it to be remade this is food service that paying customers are paying for and eating how can you upset if someone’s food is not correct I left a comment on Facebook and the establishments staff was still being rude and going back and forth on Facebook they stated the “city supports “ them but they are no longer open on weekends and only open 11to 5 during the week and stop taking orders way before closing it’s sad how the reputation of their service has went down and we see before our eyes business is declining other nemos are still functioning and operating at regular hours and weekends they are dwindling down due to bad service and unprofessionalism looking at some of the other comments I. I live an hour away and was recommended by a family friend. I ordered a steak and “cheese” sandwich. We waited inside for 30 minutes to out food to be done. I’m not upset about the wait time. If it’s good food then by all means take your time, especially on a Friday night. They finished my sandwich I specifically asked them if they put cheese, onions, and banana peppers on it. “Yeah we sure did.” It was determined that there was neither cheese or banana peppers. And the onions looked like the crappiest McDouble onions I’ve ever seen. The “steak” looks like a hybrid of ground beef and dog food. Because that wasn’t steak......
