Wendy's — Restaurant in Romulus

I go here often once or twice a week due to it being close to my work. It's a bad experience about 80% of the time.

My biggest gripe are the employees. They always have a bad attitude. They also usually wear earbuds in both ears and can't hear anything you say at the window. They will just shut the window on you while you're asking for ketchup, mid sentence. I say thanks while they're handing me my food, being polite, and they never respond or say anything. I wish them a good day, no response, idk. Just gives a very rude vibe.

My fries and nuggets are cold/room temperature more than half the time I visit. I eat right away in the car, so it's not like it should be cold.

The line takes forever sometimes but I don't blame them for it, because its been hard to find employees since covid so far, but the ones they've gone through over the past 6 months and now have been awful.

So yeah, decent location and wendys usually is good, but it's ran poorly here. I don't recommend. The McDonald's nearby has 10x better staff and are way more...

Stopped by this location at 11pm after a flight, we figured it would be ok as it’s an hour before closing. We waited at the speaker for a few minutes before anyone spoke. They were out of a few things we tried to order which was fine for the time of night. We got to the window and paid, and we’re asked to pull ahead. We waited over 10 minutes for our 3 jr bacon cheeseburgers and 1 small fry, someone else was waiting at the speaker that whole time and eventually left. Our burgers were all ice cold, bun and burger rock hard, with little bits of brittle bacon and no condiments. The fries were saturated with grease and covered in hard bits of other food clearly left on the bottom of the fryer, they were absolutely disgusting, ice cold, and tasted like a dirty floor I imagine, we couldn’t eat them. No clue why it took so long when to food was clearly not made anytime recently. The guy working must have been the only guy there, and he could barely communicate. I actually thought we where going to have a good experience this time. Nope! after we ordered we had to wait 10 minutes for our hamburgers. oh I failed to mention that the worker put our fries on the tray while the burgers where being waited on. cold fries. then I ordered a small chilli with cheese and onions. the cheese was fine but they decided to put full round onions instead of chopped. whatever that won't kill me. but.... my wife ordered her son of a baconnator well don, after waiting 10 minutes for our burgers that where not hot , the middle of my wife's burger was pink. I returned it to them and had to wait another 10 minutes. no B.S. I finally tell the worker. come on man give me my wife's hamburger. the lady that was making the burger says. what did she have.. OMG.. you have no idea how hard it was to keep my cool. but I did. we got the burger and left. no I write this review. this is all true facts. your location sucks. not just once just...
