High Country Pizza & Deli — Restaurant in Roosevelt

First, the red head at the register needs to work on her customer service skills. She was extremely rude, and acted annoyed while taking our order. We were very put off by her attitude. Second, while waiting for our food, we watched another employee (at the refrigerated prep station, left corner) chopping food, and snacking on what she was chopping. She would chop a little, then sample a few bits, then chop a little, then sample. Gross. Third, and finally, the alfredo sauce in my chicken alfredo was so watered down, and flavorless, that I would have been better off going to Dominos, and getting their alfredo, for half the price. I have noticed this establishment or sometime on my way into work and I was wanting to try one of their subs. So I finally decided to visit and order a stub. I thought I was ordering a cold cut Italian sandwich, but to my surprise I got a hot Italian sub, it was awesome!! I love bread that was perfectly toasted yet crunchy but smooth when needed to be the texture was great prosciutto ham and the melted provolone was amazing and they had what appeared to be a little bit of a pizza tasting sauce a sauce had just enough Clarity accent you ate the sandwich that was just awesome. Consistent, quality pizza. A little higher in price than the other locally owned pizza place in town, which I usually go to for cost. The upside of high country is the drive through window.

Staff: always friendly and fast

Pizza: consistent, fair size, fair amount of toppings, sometimes slightly undercooked, mostly it's a good option. Side ranch is worth it!

Wings: not worth the price, Mama lia's wins that one. Also often undercooked and sometimes cold.

Sandwiches: basic, and no official menu to choose from. Would be helpful to have some regular choices like "Italian" "Philly cheese" "BMT" instead of having to...
