Swains Roadhouse @ CB&M — Restaurant in Roosevelt

Possibly the worst restaurant I’ve been to. Waited over 1-1/2 hours for our food, mind you we ordered 3 adult dishes and 6 kids mac and cheese if that’s what you can call it. More like cold craft Mac and crap. Multiple tables around us sat after us got food ate paid and left before we even got our food. Steaks came out terrible, over done, under done, and anything but good. Found multiple pieces of hair in the chicken dish my buddy’s wife got. Not to mention an 18% service fee, for what??? They did end up not charging for the meal with hair in it. Asked if we wanted new steaks but we didn’t want to wait for another hour for them to fix them. Not to mention the absurd pricing 98$ for 4 kids mac and Crap, 2 terrible 10oz sirloins. Don’t even get me started on the baked beans, pretty sure chef boyardi makes better beans than this. The only thing this place has going for it is the urinals down stairs in the bathroom. If you’re ever looking for an awesome place to use the bathroom look no further. If you’re looking for a good place to eat save yourself the time and stop at maverick and grab some roller food. My wife and I went for lunch. She had a club and wanted hashbrowns they brought her sweet potato fries, which they fixed correctly. I ordered biscuits and gravy with an extra sausage patty before it was served. I realized it was Friday so I asked the waitress what soup they had and she said they had clam chowder, which is my favorite so I said I will take the biscuits and ready to go home for my son and I will have soup and salad bar and would love a big bowl of clam chowder. She came back 10 minutes or so later and said they did not have clam chowder soup would I like a different kind as to which I said no that was the only reason I changed my order was for the clam chowder. She said OK let me see what I can do. She came back and said they are heating some up. It will be 10 minutes or so after about 20 minutes again, she came back and said I’m sorry they dumped out what they had and they’re not making any fresh today so we will just charge you For a salad bar as to which i said no that was just to pick at while waiting for soup, ordered coffee and only after asking did my empty cup get refilled,don’t know what to say other than we have eaten here before and had a great meal and awesome service, i went home hungry and fixed my lunch have a good...

I went there before I tried their breakfast menu and I was not impressed at all. It seemed like it was nothing but teenagers running things and it was extremely noisy. The food for my parents and I was cold for all three of us and the quality wasn't even as good as Texas road steakhouse who's prices are cheaper than swains and of better quality. The breakfast though was actually pretty good. I had their peach cobbler French toast and the service was actually a lot better. Perhaps because there was actually adults working. In my opinion it would actually be worth it to go for breakfast but for the dinner, do not waste your time. I will be trying to see what their lunch menu is like though in the future so I can actually have a better opinion of the place but if in roosevelt and looking for decent steak and dinner just go to the hideout and dont waist your...
