This place is horrible. Every time I have came here and placed an order, I have had to take it back because it was wrong!! When most people request no lettuce, no tomato, no cheese, it's because they don't like it. I order no cheese because, like most places, Foster Freeze, uses this artificial processed all chemical cheese and I am deathly allergic to one of those chemicals. Still, even when I have the person taking the order repeat three or four times NO Cheese, to make sure that they understand I don't want cheese, I'll still get cheese. I should take a bite, while still in the drive up, have an anaphylactic reaction right there in the drive up, then sue their asses!! Maybe then, they would understand I don't want cheese!! Then, to add insult to injury, when I came and paid for my order they tried to keep my change and when I brought their crappy cheese burger back, they tried to keep part of my money!
I honestly think they only hire people who are dead from the neck up at this place because they have no common sense and can't understand simple instructions. A boss combo with or without cheese including tax comes to $8.58. I gave the kid at the window A $10 bill and $.58 in change. Three times I had to ask him for the rest of my change because he didn't give me any $$ back. I finally got him to understand what happened, he did give me my two dollars back. Then when I brought the horde crappy cheeseburger back, the brain dead female at the counter gave me $7.00. I asked her where is the rest of my money was. Her comment was "where is your receipt? How do I know you bought this here?". Excuse me, the next closest Foster Freeze is in Bakersfield, an hour away! The burger was still warm. If she cannot figure out how much a boss combo is with tax, maybe she should not be touching money. Another brain dead lady had to come over to tell her to go ahead and give me my money back just so I would leave. Yes, I left but, I will tell anybody and everybody not to go to this...
Read moreI have always loved fosters freeze .they are a old school hamburger and ice cream joint.i took my family to this location for my daughters birthday.I was very disappointed with the service and the quality of food we received. I had ordered $48.and change I get to the window to pay and they informed me they don't accept$50bills that is all I had so I had to go run to another store to buy something for the change.then I get back to get our food and they were slow at finding it .even though it was all baged up sitting on the counter not in a heat lamp.then they forgot to make my milkshake so that tool 10 more minutes. I get back in the car to have my wife inform me we needed straws and napticans.then to top it off I get what I thought was everything only to find out that the two orders of chicken strips with ranch and BBQ sauce did not have any sause at all .then I start to eat only then I see the food was cold the fry and onion rings taste like the oil was well past due to be changed. I was surprised that we had such a bad experience with this business. I am not sure if it was a bad day or if there was new employees or what but I don't know if I will wast my money to find out.mabey I will ask around and see if anyone else has the same experiences with you guys. I am interested in why a business with a great name would allow a customer to have so many things go wrong in a single visit.? I hope to here something that could make me feel like I should go try this place again.if I do I will be updating my post with the newest information if...
Read moreThe service was the best I've heard since I moved to California 3 months ago. The food was fresh and served in a timely manner. Very obvious the food was from the steam and the flavor was great. I ordered the #5 Krispy with fries and it is one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had. I used to be a co manager at an Arby's in South Carolina so these are things I look for if I eat out as well as cleanliness. The only reasons I don't give a 5 star is because the young gentleman who was sweeping didn't wash his hands when he returned to the front counter to take our order, the young lady cleaning the dining room didn't tend tip the drink service station, and the young gentleman that changed the trash didn't bother to clean the trash receptacles. It was also very clear the floor hasn't been mopped in quite a while. It did appear that the staff was working well together as a team to attend to their guests and maintain the restaurant. This was my very first time eating at a Fosters Freeze and haven't even heard of it until a few hours before we visited, but I'd definitely eat there again and I'd recommend it to anyone else. I was incredibly satisfied with the...
