Horrible both times I’ve come here. The first time, I was served a very melted s’mores blizzard. It looked like it had been made by accident and been left on the counter. I requested a new one, because this one wasn’t even close to fresh. All 3 workers I dealt with at this time were very rude, and tried to not remake my blizzard. I told her that I wanted a blizzard made the right way, because that is what I paid for. I also asked her about the served upside down rule. She proceeded to tell me that she “could hold this upside down for a few minutes and it would be fine” so I asked her to show me. When she flipped it upside down, a glob of ice cream instantly fell out of the cup. She slammed the drive through window and made me a new one. I had asked for two spoons with the first blizzard, but when they gave me the second one, they very briefly flipped it over, handed me the blizzard out the window, then immediately shut the window. I noticed I only had one spoon. I waved to the lady in the window, she opened the window about 3-4 inches and said “What?” With a very rude tone. I told her I still needed a second spoon.
I decided to let this incident go, because people have their days and I know that workers can act out if the managment isn’t training properly. So I returned today.
I ordered a small, premium, triple berry smoothie. I had a coupon. When I got up to the window, I showed the coupon and the lady in the window gave me a very dirty look. The woman standing behind her very quickly said “$2.15” then took my card and shut the window. I’m not sure what that was about, but I find that very unprofessional. I got my smoothie, and left. When I tried the smoothie, I was very upset. I did not receive a premium triple berry smoothie. It was very, very thin and flavorless. The smoothie tasted like blended ice with flavored water in all honesty. I will be contacting management to get this fixed, and I will now bring my...
Read moreCame in around 830pm. There was 11 people in front of me but the line moved pretty quick. By 8:37pm it was my turn. I grabbed a cake from the freezer and asked the man who was ringing people up if he can write Congrats Reena. He seemed very confused & he said they’re busy & then I looked confused so he went to ask the lady with the long blonde ponytail taking drive thru orders. The way she answered she was annoyed & rude. Looks like a manager. Doesn’t deserve to be one with her attitude. He came back & said he can’t cause they’re busy. So one person can’t step away real quick to go write some letters on a cake. I find that hard to believe. I’ve worked in many busy days of the food service & I never deny people because it’s the customer or guest that’s suppose to be taken care of. Busy or not, it’s part of the job. I’ve never heard of a Dairy Queen where they can’t do that for you. Maybe it’s because I was the only person there with darker skin. That’s what my friend said when I got back to the car & I wouldn’t doubt it. I looked like a complete idiot putting the cake back with all the people behind me staring at me. You guys don’t know what people go through & that made everything 10 times worse for me. Overall terrible customer service & the way things were handled was terrible. I will not be returning here & I will be telling everyone to steer clear because you guys are racist & treat your...
Read moreThis DQ has sadly gone downhill the past few years.
At the most recent visit, went inside, not drive through. It was 8pm. Probably eight people waiting for their orders. Employees scrambling, and we waited probably 10 minutes not in a line to have our order taken, even when standing in front of the register and being seen a few times by the employees. The toppings area behind the counter was super messy with toppings all over, looking all mixed up and clear cross-contamination, which isn't good for someone like me who has nut and peanut allergies. I heard at least two other peoples' orders were made wrong. I normally get an oreo blizzard, but with the mess and cross contamination and chaos, I didn't want to risk an allergic reaction. Don't think I'll come here again, sad to say. Got a plain vanilla kids cone, as this seemed the least risky. At least this was good :)
Might be better to have more room for the kitchen, more employees, and just have it be a walk-up to order DQ instead of the tiny indoor space. Seems it would help...
