July 24th 2023. Tonight Aladdin Pita sold me and packed in platter spoiled, very slimy basmati rice, for a fourth time in 2 years, which is health hazard... and also sold me awful uneatable, undercooked fried round potatoes, raw hard to the bite and with an unpleasant sour flavor . All thrown straight to trash!!!
Soups, grilled shrimp, hummus were excellent.
Unacceptable for any establishment,to sell spoiled or undercooked tasteless food, unacceptable not to check it before serving it, or packing for guests and takeout customers , especially coming from a very loved and respected restaurant like Aladdin is!!!
This restaurant has been slipping lately, almost a year now ,and I don't know the reason, but I guess they sold the place to someone else, who doesn't care that much about food and customers. 😒

Unfortunately I am downgrading my favorite restaurant from 5 to 2 stars, with a reason! This place is going down in quality of service! They keep forgetting to pack items, and sending such incomplete orders to be delivered to customers, when there can not be any repair, as if when guests dine in. I don't feel respect as a customer who orders delivery!
For a second time in a row they forgot to send me items, not paying any attention to follow the items on the bill, I guess. When I called to complain, girl gave lying excuses,as if I don't know their menu as a palm of my hand. I spent thousands of dollars over the years in this place. I know when their excuses are not true, since I am a regular customer for more than 5 years, and I know how excellent they used to handle their business!!
The girl on the phone told me, and lied they do not deliver cappuccinos ! Hello!? Why do you have it on the DoorDash menu then?! Don't mislead guests!!!
If you didn't have cappuccino on your menu, I could have double dashed and have delivery driver bring them from Dunkin and save some money not having to pay separate delivery fee and tip, as I now have to!!!
When I told her that wasn't the truth, and that I sometimes buy cappuccinos from Aladdin and have them delivered without a problem, like couple of weeks ago, she immediately changed the story telling me their cappuccino machine is not working anyway !?! Really !?! Common! Don't give me that.....!
Even if that was true, where is some respect towards a regular customer, as many other restaurants express their apologies , to call or write it on the paper, bill , on top of the food box in the order, just to briefly and politely explain the matter and apologize for not having an item !?! That is not hard to do. I get that polite practice from some other restaurants. The girl lied again, telling me they do not have DoorDash customers phone number?!! What!?! How come other DoorDash listed restaurants do have them, and call me to explain ?
Not informing customers on time is bad practice for business! Acting this way, you leave a customer - a person who is paying good monies for their food, and food you eat and paycheck you receive, guessing what happened, and ruining their meal.
This is unacceptable behavior from such a highly marked restaurant, and my personal favorite for many past years!!
This PLACE SHOULD CHANGE THE PEOPLE who ANSWER the PHONE , and PACK ORDERS FOR take out, and DELIVERY , which THEY EASILY LOOSE TRACK of, because THEY GET DISTRACTED by guests who dine in, since they have been their only weak spot, which is getting worse day by day now, and such practices are unnecessary shame on this famous restaurant and those great people who do marvelous cooking inside, which is the reason guests hold this place in their hearts !
They upped prices recently , but their service is gong down, especially towards customers who buy food to be delivered. They appreciate more guests who dine in I guess.
Food is still great for the moment, but be careful with their basmati rice, it is sometimes even a bit sour smelly or even dry, as if going to be...
Read moreSTOP CUTTING CORNERS...horrible not what it use to be and i refuse to accept it. I will not spend another dollar here, time after time again i keep telling myself it will be different but it gets worse. the owner now needs to stop screwing people out of their money and do things his dad use to do just got a business special today haven't had one since the father ran the business, bless his soul. i felt like i was cheated out of $15 almost 20. not as much as they use to give and instead of making Jerusalem salad they give you some bogus chopped lettuce with tomato. use to give good hummus now i feel like its served out of a damn can and to top that off instead of some nice little design or just placing it in there it looks like the damn cook grabbed some pita bread and smeared it against the takeout tray for a snack on all of our trays, little rice but just enough. you give out less lamb than you use to and the piece i had look like someone broke it off to eat it before i took it home and smaller pieces of chicken. steak was good and yes its delicious but if this establishment keeps cutting corners in this restaurant it will be the end of it. to top it off when i finish my food i said "man i'd rather have ordered Chinese food" i'll remember to change my star next time i order the business special and it actually is worth it- and that will decide whether or not i keep coming with my family to eat...
Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at Alladin Pita recently, and I can't recommend it enough! The food was absolutely fantastic—each dish was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. We started with their Biryani, which was aromatic and perfectly spiced. The tender pieces of chicken complemented the rice so well, making every bite a treat.
The Daal soup was a wonderful start to the meal—rich, comforting, and full of flavor. It had just the right balance of spices, and the smooth texture was so satisfying. The yogurt was a perfect accompaniment, creamy and cooling, offering a nice contrast to the spicier dishes.
For the main course, the Chicken Shawarma was superb! The chicken was perfectly seasoned and grilled, with just the right amount of tenderness and a slight char on the outside. And the hummus was simply divine—rich and velvety, with just the right balance of garlic and olive oil.
What truly made the experience memorable, though, was the service. Mina, our server, was an absolute gem. She was polite, attentive, and so professional throughout the meal. Her friendly demeanor added to the warm, welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant.
Overall, Alladin Pita is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious, authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. The combination of amazing food and top-notch service will definitely have me coming...
