Super Chinese — Restaurant in Ross Township

Absolutely destroys me to write this review as I have been a customer of this restaurant for 20 years. Even when I lived an hour away I would make the drive to get food from here. I used to order weekly at $50 to $60 each order, but that has gotten less and less in the past couple of years, and after the last two orders, I will be finding another to get my fix.

The quality of the food has gone way downhill. Prime examples are the steamed dumplings, used to be very flavorful, juicy, and made in house; now they are using frozen pre-made and they are horrible, very dry and taste like cardboard. The shrimp in the Mei fun tastes like precooked canned shrimp. The chicken for the sweet and sour has a stale taste to it which can be contributed to the oil needing to be changed, but it just compounds to the decline.

I have been rotating through items the past few orders to see, and nothing has the same flavor and quality as it used to. Unless by some miracle they bring back in quality cooks and stop using garbage pre-made items, tonight's order will be my last there. I used to recommend this place to everyone that asked about a good Chinese restaurant in the area, but unfortunately the only recommendation that I will be making now is to not...

Becky Kerwin,in response to your post,they used to have a couple that drove for them. They didn't pay them right,and when it came down to large tippers, magically their son or husband would get the high paying tippers... Seeing that the drivers used their own vehicles and gas,one would think they would get entire delivery charge just in case the driver wasn't tipped. No they would take a percentage out of the delivery fee. Another beautiful thing is they never explained to the patrons the difference between delivery charges/tips. Two...

I really wanted some Chinese food on 7-3-2021, so I decided to place order with Super Chinese, lg beef fried rice and two egg rolls. I was so ready to eat, when i did the rice didnt taste right it had a funny smell like plastic/ or a bad bowl smell when u had a bowl for long time. Well let's just say am in restroom again. I phoned left message, but closed due to holiday. I haven't eaten from the restaurant in years but just want REFUND and move on. I'm posting to see, if anyone else had...
