McDonald's — Restaurant in Rossville

Would rather give 0 stars but that was not an option. Drive thru had 8 cars in it so I went inside. There was 1 register open with 5 people in front of me. There were about 6 or 7 workers mulling around. A manager came up and made herself an ice cream and iced tea and disappeared. The young girl on the register was having a difficult time entering 10 sugars for a coffee. Other workers walked past her numerous times and looked at the register but never helped. Finally someone came in to rescue her but was very annoyed about it. They took the orders for the rest of us waiting in line but then left this confused girl to make the drinks and ice cream which she was having extreme difficultly with. She dropped the ice scoop on the floor and only rinsed it off at a sink, no soap or any effort in really cleaning it. No other employee really took notice of how she was cleaning the scoop even though they watched her drop it on the floor. After waiting about 15 more minutes, I finally got my drinks, which were not completely filled but I just needed to go. Since I had 3, I asked for a carrier and this confused girl had no idea where they were. She asked another worker who gave her the direction of going in the back of the restaurant and getting them from a storage area. I could not wait any longer so I just juggled my bag and the drinks and left. On my way out I noticed the dirty counters, tables, floors, etc. I questioned whether or not I even wanted to eat the food I ordered. Workers had no interest in their work and clearly were not team players since this young girl was never helped and everyone was annoyed with her. No one took Pride in their work area or store. Really dirty. The store had no one eating inside which I guess should have been a clue that this McDonald's is...

This location needs to be closed PERMANENTLY! Staff is RUDE! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AT ALL! I have had COUNTLESS HORRIBLE encounters at this location but 1/2/2022 put it over the top.

My daughter and I were in the drive thru for 20 minutes! 20 MINUTES!!! The parking lot was empty. No one was inside. There was no explanation for the long wait. Just stuck! On top of that, my food that I got from another restaurant had gotten cold from the wait. I only stopped here because my daughter wanted McDonalds. She too was upset by the wait!

Tonight, 2/1/2023, was another unpleasant experience. Shocking 🙄. There were 3 cars in the drive thru. The parking lot was empty, yet it took a long time to place an order. The person taking the order lacked customer service skills.

The lights on the parking lot are always out. The parking lot is dark! The workers need to take the training that the Chic Fil A employees take. This location needs to be CLOSED! EVERY EMPLOYEE seems like they hate working there! I would rather it be a Chic Fil A, Wendy’s, Starbucks…..etc. Anything but what it currently is. That McDonalds has been TRASH since I have been a kid and I am 35 years old.

My husband and I bought a house 2.5 years ago nearby and this location is very close and I thought things would have improved over the years once I moved away, but now we are back and it’s even worse! GARBAGE!!!

From the other reviews, it appears that the owner does not care at all about the overall operation of this location....

I hate to give bad reviews and have only given very few reviews but there is always the exception and this is definitely it. If I could've given a half of star for this review I would. Although my first real job was in the fast food industry I won't claim to be an expert other than me and my family eat out at least 2 times a week at different restaurants from fast food to dine in. This place is the absolute worse for fresh food in a timely manner or or at all. The staff is unprofessional by the way that they talk and act while customers are waiting inside. My orders were not completed properly on several different occasions. For example I ordered a breakfast sandwich in drive thru and after driving away (almost home) I realized there was nothing but napkins and ketchup in the bag. Because it was a single sandwich there wasn't a noticeable enough weight difference. I then had to return for them to fix my order without even an apology. The person in drive thru instead laughed and then made fun of another worker who helped to bag my order. This McDonald's is the closest to my house and I selfishly wish they were better just for my convenience of grabbing a quick meal. Sadly I've been in the area for over 10yrs and they have always been the worse. My family will never patronize this place again and we would rather drive to a further location for better food. I hope that your experience is better even if it is just...
