I hate to see VG's gone but love that Roswell has a great new Italian Restaurant to try. They've only been open for a week so they still have some kinks to work out and are doing just that. We sat at the bar, we prefer that over tables. The bartender as advertised was amazing! She made our cocktail, wine and food recommendations, all perfect. For appetizers we had the beef tare tare, which we order whenever we see it on a menu and we just had to try the veal brains, yep veal brains. The tare tare had a lot of great flavors you expect to find in a good tare tare. The capers, a hint of mustard, tabasco, etc. The side chips paired well, that perfect crunch, just need to serve more as four just won't do it for the amount of tare tare. I always believe in try anything once, if you don't like it worse case you spit it out. I've had other animal brains so I thought why not fried veal. I mean anything fried is good, right? I'm not a texture person but the texture bothered me on this one, a bit too mushy for me. The flavor was there but what could have helped if the batter was a bit more cooked, it too was soft so the soft and soft didn't work for me. Make it a bit more crunchy and I think you may be on to something. We loved the side sauce, never had a dipping sauce quiet like it with the hint of anchovy. I love how unique this was on a menu so you get some street cred from me for enlightening the Roswell Taste-buds. For the entrée I will call the veal schnitzel or AKA Costoletta Di Vitello Milanese - bone in veal. It was amazing, the portion was huge and the breading was spot on. The veal itself was pound to the perfect thickness. The veal meat had a great flavor along with the crunch of the breading. The only ding I can give it is it was a bit overcooked, maybe by a minute. The crunch was too hard which made it hard to cut. The side potatoes were excellent. A nice roasted potato with the perfect crusted edges. We ate the entire plate thinking in the beginning we were talking some home, didn't happen. They brought in two chefs from Italy to create the menu and are well on their way to perfecting it. The Tuscany State has a different diet than the rest of Italy so don't go here expecting a bunch of red sauce and pasta as the main dish. Its a hearty meat and cheese diet so come prepared to eat! Would I go back? YES! I have to try out the rest of the menu!

Needs a bit of work. I know they just opened but there is a large gap between expectation for this place and reality. We sat in the Tuscany room at a table that felt way too small. We were a party of 4 and were expected to share 2 menus. I discovered midway through our meal that chair I sat in leaned back, but not as a chair should. The back legs were broken where they meet the seat and my discovery of this lead me to the understanding that they didn’t put a lot into the furniture here. I feel that the staff lacked training. The server was fine and very polite but seemed unsure about everything and was hard to get his attention when we were ready to get the bill. The food runners didn’t know what they were brining to the table. The one asked “whose is this?” We asked what it was as we had not seen the dish before this. She was without a clue. And so it became quite the cluster as there were other dishes coming out and no one knew which way to go. There was also a skillet for one of the meals of which we received no warning on how hot it was. My wife burned herself as a result. The food: Chicken cacciatore - It was good, though I suggest trying something else Margarita pizza - very unremarkable Burrata e tartufo - mushy and the top just slid right off Charcuterie board - both cheese and meats were good and plentiful Tortelli mugellani- tasty but not for everyone I feel bad about all the negative as the (presumably) owner seemed to really care about how the food was and that we were looking for our server at the end. He needs though to hire a very good, very experienced manager. We were really hoping to like this place but don’t think we’re going to eat here again

Every aspect of our experience was phenomenal. The wait staff works in teams and they were all very attentive. The owner came out several times to make sure we had everything we needed and that the food was to our liking. The interior of the restaurant is beautifully decorated and there is a nice ambiance. The food itself was as if we were sitting at a restaurant in Florence. It is the most authentic Italian restaurant Ive ever been to in the US. I had the Risotto all' astice, and it was amazing. The flavors were incredible and the lobster was cooked perfectly. My husband had the Tortelli Mugellani with Bolognese and I, of course, had to have a taste or two of his, as well. There was so much flavor, its hard to describe. You just have to experience it. We also shared the Bistecca Alla Fiorentina Alla Brace. I've never had a T-bone steak so tender and flavorful. For desert we shared one of the specials, it was a Lemoncello cake with, rasberry sorbet, I believe. It was so light and fresh tasting, it was the perfect desert for such a large meal. Needless to say, we have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. All in all , it was a fabulous meal. Its literally like stepping into a fine restaurant in Tuscany. I can't wait to go back and try the Lasagna Della Nonna. This was my favorite meal when I went to Italy, and I'm so excited to have found it right here at home.

A Comedy of Errors: We had reservations for dinner on Friday and arrived early to have cocktails at the bar. The only seating is at the bar or outside. We went outside where the bartender, who lives up to her reviews, was prompt and helpful. We ordered 4 different cocktails which were all delivered separately by different servers and never on a tray. We were seated in the lovely main dining room next to the windows. When our server arrived we ordered a bottle of wine for the table only to find out they didn't have it. That happened 3 times! And took over 30 minutes. Our sever avoided us and helped other tables. When our server came back, she placed blame on the bartender who was supposed to come help us. Then the bartender arrived later with a bottle she picked. She opened this new bottle and poured a sip for my husband to taste, only to say that she would return with a fresh bottle. We laughed because that was a fresh bottle! Why she didn't serve the table was very confusing to us. At this point we didn't have water and still no wine and we've been there close to an hour. Three tables in our section had turned. My husband went to the manager and asked for some wine. The manager arrived with a bottle that was $20 more than what we were considering. We just went with it thinking after all of this it would be comped since the manager was involved. Our server returned to open and serve the wine. She didn't know to serve the person who ordered it first to taste before serving the table. It was ok, but needed to open up and we were hesitant to ask for a decanter because they should know to decant chianti. For dinner we ordered two salads to share, which were not split in the kitchen and we had to ask for plates and split them at the table. The server was young and didn't know what the salads were and we had to figure it out. He was so nervous he was shaking. We were not brought bread and olive oil like other tables. Maybe we had to order it, but at this price point and environment, it should be included. When we ordered our entrees, questions we had were answered with snippy short responses and eye rolls. My friend asked about the Tuscan chicken and was told that it was just a plain chicken thigh with no sides. The food was good, but not what I would expect from two chefs who were brought in from Italy to build the menu and recipes. Our waters were not refilled until we asked and our wine was never poured until we did it ourselves. The bill was brought without asking if we wanted dessert. It was pretty obvious our server wanted us to finish up and leave. We asked for the bill to be split by each couple. She came back with the bills and said she can't split up the bill because she can't split the wine. I waited tables 25 years ago and even back then we could split the bill however the customer wanted. So, thankfully we are all good enough friends and could afford to split the bill down the middle and gave her two cards. Our meal with a bottle of wine, an appetizer, two salads and four entrees was $300. For that price we all agreed we could have gone to Little Alley Steak and had a much nicer experience. And the wine was not comped. We never saw or heard from the manager again. All we could do was laugh because the whole night was so strange. We all live off of Canton Street and regularly walk to all the restaurants and love that part of our community. We gave a new restaurant a try, that we had to drive to, because of the way it was presented on social media, not the reviews posted here. If Bellinis wants to compete with the Canton Street crowd, they need to take their staff out for an onsight training to their competition (Table and Main, Little Alley Steak, Osteria Mattone, 1920) so they know how the level of expectation for their price point. We will...

Visited Bellini Restaurant on 09/20/2025. Without exaggeration, this was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. The manager/owner was absent, defensive, and completely unhelpful. There was no apology, no attempt at a solution, and not even the smallest gesture to acknowledge the serious problems we experienced. Service was painfully slow, staff were dismissive and unprofessional, and the overall hygiene was questionable — even the bathroom was in poor condition. For the prices charged here, the quality of both food and service was unacceptable.

What turned this from a bad dinner into a shocking incident was the behavior of one employee. A mistake occurred with a dish, and instead of addressing it politely, he stood in front of the entire dining room and began yelling — yes, screaming. His exact words: “EVERYONE SPEAKS SPANISH, RIGHT? WHO ORDERED THE DISH WITH CHICKEN AND WHO WANTS CHICKEN ” - MORE THINS WERE SAID THAT I AM COMPLETELY EMBARRASED OF MENTIONING. The tone was aggressive, disrespectful, and humiliating. This was not only unprofessional but offensive and discriminatory, making multiple guests at my table deeply uncomfortable. In 2025, a restaurant tolerating this kind of behavior from staff is completely unacceptable.

We had a large group with a bill of over $1,000. Despite the mistakes, the slow service, the lack of cleanliness, and the appalling outburst, no adjustment was made to the bill. Not even a small discount or a genuine apology was offered. The staff acted as if our concerns were irrelevant, showing zero accountability.

This experience revealed serious issues:

No staff training in customer service or professionalism.

Discriminatory and offensive behavior openly tolerated in the dining room.

Negligence from management, who failed to appear or take responsibility.

Complete disregard for customer satisfaction, even when dealing with a high-value table.

This is not just bad service — it reflects a toxic culture of disrespect toward customers. My guests and I were shocked, embarrassed, and insulted. Every single person at the table has said they will never return, and I will be taking further steps to report this behavior to the proper channels.

Bellini Restaurant failed on every possible level: food, service, management, hygiene, and basic human respect. If you value your time, your money, or simply being treated decently, I strongly recommend staying away from this place.

FOR FUTURE CUSTOMERS - DONT GO!!! DONT GO!!! - EVEN MCDONALDS ITS...
