Mom's Apple Pie at Hill High — Restaurant in Round Hill

Made a happy and wonderful discovery that Mom's Apple pie was on my way home to Maryland. I still recall the first time I had Mom's fruit pie and amazing sunflower bread from the Occoquan location. This location similarly did not disappoint 👏 but exceeded in service, quality and offerings. The service from multiple staff members was fantastic, helpful, and knowledgeable about ciders and meads I was interested in. They are so kind and friendly!

Plus the variety and quality of the pies were amazing. It's like PIE 🥧 HEAVEN!!! The apple pie of course was great but the blueberry crumb and strawberry rhubarb were super delicious and fresh. I so wish Mom's was closer to me in MD!!! (Or maybe it's a good thing or else I'd be eating a whole pie...

Stopped here after a hike on the nearby AT and was pleasantly surprised. Looked like a fun wine selection (which I did not partake of) but I did treat myself to a tasty cup of hot chocolate and a lavender buttercream cupcake, which really hit the spot! So many amazing looking pies and other baked goods to choose from, it is a terrific watering hole after a long hike. They also had make to order sandwiches if you're looking for something more substantial, or ice cream if you need to cool off. This bakery is awesome!!! 🤯 Just the smell will make your mouth water! 🤤 The selection of pies 🥧 will make choosing difficult, so get several! Pie makes the world 🌎 go round. Lots of other treats as well; cannoli, buckeyes, carrot cupcakes 🧁, and ,oh my gosh, the cookies 🍪 are to die for! Cinnamon rolls were coming out of the oven while I was there, heavenly smell, huge buns, but the one I tried was dry, not much cinnamon/sugar inside, and a very thin, pretty but tasteless topping (they need help!).
